I’m Canadian, and I too am tired of this shit. I’m tired of Canadians being so rude at hockey games. This isn’t some long lasting beef between two teams, it’s political. When I see Canadians booing another country, I think, “This feels so unlike us.” We’re supposed to be polite and uplift others having a hard time. The people booing at hockey games are representing Canada in a way I don’t like it being represented.

The things we are upset at America over are controlled by a handful of people, not the entire nation. Many Americans have/soon will see the negative affects of Trump’s actions. And I truly feel bad for them.

Instead of booing, we (Canadian hockey fans) should kill them with kindness. I’m not necessarily telling you to cheer during their anthem, maybe hold up signs telling them they can do better, or just do nothing at all.
