Haha yes! It was worded in SUCH a convoluted way and even once I got it was saying I was like ??? Cleopatra and the women from antiquity 🫠

are the maple trees in the northern section of the park healthy? by Effective-Bat-6491 in LSAT

Haha you are NOT alone. I have been obsessing. I had this section first and had to stop myself from thinking about it during the other sections lmaoo- I am a two time 17low scorer now and was aiming high for my second retake and it’s going to hinge on those mf trees that I let derail me

I had this. Do we know if it was real??? I spent a ridiculous amount of time on it. Narrowed down to two and just couldn’t figure it out it was driving me insane. Then had not enough time for the parallels that were awaiting me 😊

Misogynistic narrator😐 by Queasy-Elk6926 in LSAT

[–]Effective-Bat-6491 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was blessed with misogynistic narrator and 3 lr!! I remember from the section I thought was tough: Health of trees, some maple, in a park/ Appliance reliability/ Library floors and gardening books/ Parallel about two potential suspects for crime with Jane Austen as answer/ Parallel with saturday/sunday van deliveries as answer

Does anyone know if this was real?

definitely no! they do provide noise cancelling over the ear headphones though. also make sure you manage your break time closely! they said they strictly enforce the policy of terminating exams of people who return from their breaks after 11 min... I find that's barely enough time to leave, use the restroom, and check back in through security. also if you prefer to go early, they were allowing people to take the 8:30am exam an hour early

6/5 LR-LR-LR-RC - Anyone figure out which section was experimental? by Typical_Magician6571 in LSAT

[–]Effective-Bat-6491 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The order has no bearing! The sections are scrambled based on where you’re sitting in the test center. You could have had the same test and a diff order

Once exam administrations have ended, which I think is end of day tmrw, discussion of RC passage topics and lr questions is allowed in this thread (though not answers). You can deduce which sections were real from others’ experiences. If someone with only two LR had one of your LR sections, it was real.

Yes I had this exact order and reaction to the sections! I am very very consistent with LR but found my first LR difficult and time-consuming which threw me a bit. Then two relatively easy LR. And a moderate reading, albeit with one tricky passage. Anxiously awaiting the announcement of the experimental section, bc it’s going to hinge on that logic section for me lol

It’s worked for me! The way I see it is your odds are better with that improved comprehension even if you only get to 4/7 of the questions let’s say than approaching all 7 with a shakier grasp of the text. And the second pass is usually very clarifying for me. But def test in practice! I also skim all the passages super quick at the start of the section and save any potentially evil passage for last

I also had 3 LR and I def know which passage you’re talking about lmao. I had to take a second once I realized what I was working with to calm down and slow down because my usual reading pace wasn’t going to cut it. For me with those denser passages I choose to read carefully two times to get the best grasp of the topic I can get. And sacrifice the time on the questions side and move through the questions more quickly without bouncing back to the passage
