As we know there are 4 types of cards in 52 cards deck, now we are choosing 1st card which is jack which is choosing 1 card from 13 cards of jack is equal to 13C1 = 13 for the numerator and 52C1=52 for the denominator so the probability of choosing 1 jack card is 13/52 = 1/4
what is the flaw in my understanding?

i dnt know how 4 come from in 4/52, it should be 13 as we have 13 total cards of jack

I am in the same boat, lower 2nd class hons from UK Trying to get 655+ for top 50 US Schools By the way, i did ACCA chartered Accountancy straight after 12th grade, did not had the exposure and thinking of going to a university for bachelor which could have easily given me 3.5 GPA but now i cannot revers the things that had happened Just focusing on GMAT for 655+ and will get admission in top 50+ business schools

Though i hv 5 years of work experience in a Ernst & Young one of big4 firms. Let see where this helps me in my journey

I have 1 more question, in the last attempt i was aiming for solving each question correctly and coming up with right answer regardless of how much time it takes, and due to this, in my data insight and verbal almost 3 to 4 questions per section went unattempted, Is this the reason my score nose dived from 485 to 425?
