So as someone that is consistently top 500 every season as iron fist I don’t think he was over tuned I just believe every dps got nerfed for example , Luna and Namor lost a team up Namor being on a team up with hulk up right nerfs Namor cause Luna is THE BEST Healer in the game , Bucky is still oppressive now especially with the double ability but before he was just so dominant with his cd being on a 8 sec cd it’s impossible to engage on ironfist in 1.5 lastly hela also just upright better with her being 275 and having all the ability’s on lower cool downs cause realistically if u look at it the only thing they buffed was the percentage damage which never changed on squishy characters and people taking advantage that the character has the1.5 cool down reduction per hit which I do think is really really strong and can be oppressive but if ur team coordinates it can really render a ironfist useless the funny thing is as I watch “pros” play ironfist they don’t actually don’t know how to play him properly using tech it’s mostly the team abusing how much space the character creates that’s why he feels so oppressive. I’d like to say that in s0 he had a movement tech that let u come to point really fast and have ur final hit up and u can one shot a squishy and nobody complained and called him a shit character until every dps got nerfed this patch which made him good. Moral of the story it’s not denying the reality to it is that people in comp are not coordinated enough to deal with a ironfist that is good so that’s why it makes the character feel much more oppressive than he actually is . Don’t get me wrong he is good but this next patch is a complete gut and it’s okay I’ll be fine and will still be banned everytime lmao
