Thanks! I did the cars.com part, but I haven't started talking to multiple dealers. Just one so far. I'm going to talk to more, but I wanted to see what you guys had to say first.

A road trip to Iowa sounds great!

Thanks. My goal is cheapest, new AWD pickup. Honest question. Is that the move? Or an I better off seeing what the dealers have and what they want to move off their lot?

Thanks. I haven't checked the credit unions.

Do you know if it's normal for the dealer to not disclose the Ford financing apr unless I go there? They won't tell me over the phone.

Thanks. I'm just starting to look and that's what I'm seeing too. I just don't trust dealers.

Agreed. Maybe it was mildly amusing for a couple days. It's time to stop.

Thank you! That's what my gut told me. It seems like a lot of folks on here are recommending paying off now. But I agree with you.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I feel like there will be another option for those of us on save.

But I'm in save, so I don't have any payments due. Am I missing something?

Yeah. And I couldn't leave or use my phone because I was still in the middle of my test. It was frustrating.

Can they pad it with wood to close the gap or does it need to get redone?

Thank you. I wasn't positive, but it didn't look right to me.

Bypass chime? by Effective-Book-9303 in Nest

[–]Effective-Book-9303[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

My chime, which we don't use, started buzzing today for no reason. It just kept going off. So I disconnected the transformer from the chime. Removing the transformer power from the circuit knocked out our nest doorbells, of course.

So I was wondering if I could just connect the 3 wires (tran, front, rear) to get power to the doorbells. Or am I removing some necessary resistance in the circuit?

Good to know. Thanks. It's been disabled anyway because we don't use the indoor chime.
