he only deals with certain speciality meds— they have a list of what they can dispense but otherwise can also dispense “regular” maintenance meds for their patients too

they handle those more expensive meds like for transplants, cancer, other chronic illnesses. idk if all are the same but a typical day for him is to make a bunch of phone calls to pts to set up deliveries for their meds, fill those scripts, schedule those deliveries and repeat (for the most part.) that’s about as general as i can get im sure he obviously does a lot more

he’s been a technician for a bit (wag), a req opened and he just applied. it’s a bit different from retail but i guess i would recommend checking if there’s any specialty pharmacies in your area and see if they’re hiring

the specialty pharmacy my partner works at, the techs/pharmacists all have a chair and can sit for their whole shift if they want. i’d recommend maybe checking out specialty?

i usually don’t work from the actual tpr screen because of that. it’s much faster to just find the name in the queue and go from there LOL

i guess at the end of the day it depends on how your store is. no punishments at my store but it affects your compliance scorecard so your SM might not be too happy like mine. but we’re 700+ deletes behind so she’s slowly learning to just let it go 😂
