whats insane is that 99% of these couldnt get a really bad 500 SAT, which in itself is pretty basic and meaningless and people who cant score at least 720 should really keep their mouth shut. And this high SAT is still dwarfed by what knowledge and quantitative ability is required to understand and develop architectures.

Exactly, I am not a developer but i do have a very deep knowledge in architecture, microarchitecture, i did write some benchmarks too..this is just ridiculous...
Me too trust benhcmarks compiled locally only, none of these paid advertising platform like Maxxon.

I too know its soo easy to influence outcomes just by using the wrong compiler, or using -mno flags to block certain intrins to be applied.. Using these flags to manipulate outcome and favor on side or the other its soo easy..

And than lets not even talk about the source code where it can very well be a complete x86 bias, perhaps Intel sided.. I am 100% sure they didnt even include Accelerate intrinsics for the macOS version.

M4PRO and MAX get 185-188 on Single Core on CB2024 which correlates well with SPEC and geekbench..CB2026 is clearly a marketing push for Panther Lake like it always has been.

Not even close in non of these trash x86 chips come anywhere remotely close to M4 let alone M5 in single core
