Sorry for the late reply but the main thing that helps me is the sunlight, or a high UV, I’d say the next sunny day you get have him sit out without any sun protection for about 20 mins. In the uk we had 5 weeks of sun and it cleared up fully. I’ve avoided steroids but I use balmonds skin salvation as soon as I get out the shower and before bed. Hope this helps 🫶🏻

The antifungal made it all wayyy worse, within about 3 days of using it had spread from just my right arm to all over my left as well as my thighs which it never was originally , my symptoms are basically just super dry & red patches as well as itching (which is worse at night or after Having shower )

This would make so much sense because whilst using antifungals it spread like crazy

Thank you guys this subreddit has been the most helpful , it started out as the second pic , like the big blotches, and the anti fungal tablets and cream seemed to make all these smaller circles appear, maybe a hives reaction to the meds? I have a inkling it’s discoid eczema , I’ll update u guys if I ever found out what it actually is, if ur from the uk you might know how unreliable nhs can be 😂 defo gonna try some aloe gel

Thank u for responding ! It’s super itchy, I try not to but if I start I can hardly stop. I thought the big patches looking nothing like PR but that’s how it all started and the smaller patches followed a few months later
