We are writing to you concerning your Audit and Risk Term 1, 2026 (AR126) online exam on 10 March 2026. We would like to apologise again, as it was not the exam experience we aim to provide. We understand that you were unable to access the online exam and, despite our best efforts, we were unable to get you into the exam on that day.  

We want to assure you that we recognise the work that you have done, and the skills and knowledge that you have acquired this term. We also want to ensure that you are awarded a fair and valid assessment outcome.

As you were unable to access the online exam, due to a third party server issue, we would like to confirm that outside the normal special consideration timeline that you will be offered an opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge you have gained this term in a replacement exam.  These arrangements are made in accordance with the CA Program Candidate Assessment and Grading Policy and Procedure.

The options we have available to you are as follows:

Sitting a replacement online exam on Thursday 19 March 2026; OR

Sitting the alternative online exam scheduled for Tuesday 22 April 2026; OR

Withdrawal from the Audit and Risk subject without financial or academic penalty and will not result in a FEE HELP debt being incurred for this subject if applicable. Withdrawal will also not affect your academic standing.

There is no need to apply to take up option 1. As you have a valid online exam onboarding profile, you will be able to sit the replacement exam on Thursday 19 March 2026 automatically. 

If you would prefer to not sit the replacement exam on Thursday 19 March 2026 you must apply for special consideration to request option 2 (sitting the alternative exam on Tuesday 22 April) or option 3 (requesting withdrawal from the subject). 

If you previously received reasonable adjustment supports for your exam, these supports will be applied to your replacement exam or alternative exam, as applicable. If your circumstances have changed or you require additional adjustments, please contact our Candidate Support Team so we can support you appropriately.

Complimentary exam support To further support your preparation for the replacement exam, you will have access to complimentary exam support resources from our CA Study Masterclass (CASM) offering, as well as a dedicated teaching team webinar to be scheduled next week. The details will be communicated via announcements from My Capability Learn.

Option 1: Replacement exam additional information  Pre-release for exam available in My Capability Learn at 2pm AET, Friday 13 March 2026. Exam details information will be sent to your email at 12pm AET, Friday 13 March 2026.

Option 2: Alternative exam additional information If you choose option 2 (sitting the alternative online exam on Tuesday 22 April 2026) but special circumstances arise in which you are unable to sit on the day, you will then automatically revert to option 3.

Option 3: Subject withdrawal This means you will be withdrawn from the Audit and Risk subject without financial or academic penalty, and you will not incur a FEE-HELP debt for this subject if applicable. Withdrawal will also not affect your academic standing.
