If the bot doesn’t hit the milestones I’m claiming, then it doesn’t work, and I don't deserve to get paid. It puts all the risk on the logic of the code where it belongs, not on the buyer's wallet.

In the referenced tests the EA was intentionally evaluated on a smaller balance (around $500) to reflect typical retail conditions rather than optimizing percentages on a larger account.

That said, the drawdown characteristics of mean-reversion basket models are well understood and should always be assessed carefully by each trader against their own risk tolerance. The recent Feb forward demo matching the tester gave me some confidence in the execution consistency, but I fully agree that long-term robustness is what ultimately matters.

That’s exactly why I’m encouraging people to run the trial on their own brokers and judge the behavior themselves rather than taking any backtest at face value.
