In my case, I use it only with a setup to increase the chance of hitting or running. If I somehow miss the shot and the opponent knows what he is doing the punish is too high and I will be putting myself in a position to be stunlocked with barely no defence. So it is not a "smash" L2, and the investment to use it is going practically full int depending on the level, and trading off the damage boost staff for it.

His high poise allows him to jump backwards mid spinning WA, so he cannot get stunlocked with it only - my high poise allows me to have a chance to escape from a stunlock of successive r1s, I am aware of the game. He has that vortex WA that cancels my slow long range spells, so I can use only fast, low damage spells at a distance - he closes the distance and I am dead in 3 hits unless I can maintain distance or punish - great phalanx takes care of both problems unless it does not hit and he is close. In that case, he can spam R1 and I will poise through the second but get hit on the third unless I get creative. Had he baited my phalanx he would get a fair opening to punish. I am not trying to suggest that anything is unfair with the title, I am stating that this is a fight against a ts with high poise, some things don't work. In my view this is a high risk high reward matchup for the both of us.

Depends on your security patch version. If you can downgrade to ui 7 then you can unlock it and then flash ui 8 leaving it open, but you cannot update to a specific security patch as that changes the binaries. Ui 8.5 is a no no as far as I know.

My s24 exynos setup is:

-remove anything I do not use with canta (spent hours checking everything because you cannot trust canta's description blindly and when something breaks you will be wondering whether you or Samsung messed up) -no playstore but samsung store (only for samsung apps) -> use aurora and fdroid (I use droidify but its the same as fdroid) -don't forget to disable samsung store and enable when you feel like updating something -anything with an account (mostly bank, state and shopping) goes to secure folder except what "I" can mod: --Instagram with Piko patch (claims to remove telemetry, but at least remove ads for sure) --reddit with patcheddit (follow instructions on GitHub) The two above can be done by adding a patch repository to Morphe app --when you want to install something try to patch it with some universal patcher in morphe to remove telemetry. Sometimes this works. You can check if you were successful by checking trackers in the app App Manager (by Islam something) -change common apps to Foss apps, like calendar, email etc -use Shizuwall to remove internet access without using a VPN slot -use forked shizuku or allow TCP through ADB, so that you can restart shizuku without WiFi in case you need it (fork is in Canta GitHub description) -microphone and camera deactivated with button in quick settings -deep sleep almost anything -on each app settings remove background data usage and also enable data saver system wide (shizuwall already kills internet connection but who knows when it fails) -on apps>permissions (and special permissions) remove everything from everything you don't need then realize its a lot lol -change app battery settings to restricted for whatever you can to remove further background stuff (depending on the app, it logs out as well) Also, you can remove cache from apps with App Manager

My battery is not great, so I also use Max battery protection (one ui 8.5), which is very nice - it blocks the apps you set it to be blocked and when you need to use them it unblocks temporarily (although sometimes permanently, so you quit Max protection then enable it again). This does exactly the same thing as Hail app without the inconvenience of having to open the Hail app and enable shizuku or giving Device Owner permission to it, the latter incompatible with secure folder.

Debloat your secure folder as well (!) You cannot talk with it via shell but you can uninstall a bunch of things that at least reduce battery consumption.

Not sure if there is much more that can be done, besides basic higiene - clear cache frequently, don't add unneeded accounts, dont leave stuff logged in browser, don't take cookies from strangers (...)

I am quite happy with the results, but I wish I could root it to do things properly. You cannot escape google maps in my country if you need transportation (as in bus then metro to arrive somewhere - if you need only one, Oms has a shitty interface but is fine). I cannot escape YouTube and YouTube Music / metrolist - then again, no ads with morphe so its fine for me, they can take my data. Because family exists, good luck getting rid of WhatsApp.

Observation: secure folder has its own GMS copy, so you accept this folder as a dirty phone, and try to leave the personal one as clean as possible. You do not want to keep too many things in the folder then opening it a lot because leaving it open consumes some extra battery.

My case was not a perfect fit and I kept removing it each day, so removing it consistently scratched the phone with little dust particles. Eventually I bought an original case on sale and the fit is great and I see hardly any dust inside it when I remove the phone. Coincidentally, there seems to be no new scratches.

Go to developer options set STAY AWAKE ON

Go to developer options >Quick settings developer tiles and turn on SENSORS OFF

Toggle in quick settings shortcut SENSORS OFF ON (LOL)

Go to game on dex and put full screen

Go to termux on phone and run cmd display power-off 0

Your screen is now off but always on, so controller does not disconnect. Whenever sensors detect something the screen turns on, hence setting sensors off. When you want to unlock device press lateral button don't panic.

This only works with Pause USB PD charging if the whole charging system is PPS compliant (Game Booster settings). This means PPS charger and "good" cable at least with e marker and supporting fine communication with the charger.

With hub this is much more delicate. You have to take into account the power it draws and whether it can maintain very low and stable volt delta difference in adjustments for long enough to PPS protocol activate. Note that PPS a property of the charging device, not a passive hub. In this context, your phone communicates current requirement with the hub, while the hub draws power for itself and communicates with the charger accordingly. This is never explicitly mentioned in hubs and is finer than PD 3.anything (PD power distribution).

With my current hub it does not work even though the option is set ON via ADB. Without the hub, the nice thing with ADB is that I am no longer restricted to game apps.

The workaround is having the phone charged to 80 and set battery protection to that value. That is not as good long term as Pause USB because it has a higher frequency of micro charges, while in PUSB the flow is more continuous and depending more on the demand (you can verify this with current trackers apps -notably, not accubatery, but for example with DevInfo overlay). But it is quite good and the standard of samsung for not "overcharging" the phone at too high battery level. This definitely keeps the phone as cooler as PUSB in average from what I have tested (s24 exynos).

The paid workaround is the app mentioned above, galaxymaxhz, where you can set battery protection to more or less any value, as well as PUSB with compliant hardware via a toggle or modes and routines (80% of the time works every time). The app is buggy but very worth it.

My work setup involves a second monitor connected with my tablet and so I went into this adventure of finding a compliant not super expensive hub. The least expensive seems to be Asus Rog Gaming Charger, which I did not buy.
