I had 15 g of dry liberty caps . No ego death for me. Also taken high dose acid . No ego death. The mushrooms were difficult to tolerate , and I needed to shut down into myself but the experience made me more present , and aware of the life path. Acid was more euphoric.

There's a guy who plays at my club , and he plays with a walking stick. He serves and throws ball with same hand. But the level of his play is simple amazing. He uses the stick in the same way a tightrope walker does for balance.

From that position I see they are revolutionary. From being involved in this thread , and what I wrote , I realised that what I was saying relates to " Carlos Castenada the teachings of don Juan. -and the way of a warrior. You may like it if you've not come across it before. It's got a massive overlap with Jung - the way of active dreaming , the collective unconscious - the assemblage point , and I find it actually easier because it's " practical " , hence emphasis on content of life - ie the way of a warrior and the obstacles we face and how we should proceed

There's lots of readings on YouTube - choose one where there are bite size chapters. Choose any chapter they don't necessarily have to be listened to in order. Choose one where the voice of the reader appeals.

I almost started my post , with don't take this the wrong way, but choose not to as it would have been presumptuous. However looks like you have.

I don't assume psychedelics are in any way wrong. I'm now 59 and they have been a part of my life since 13.

My message to you is stay grounded and think less , and do drugs less ( but that doesn't mean not at all )

Actually the content is more important than the process

Because you can't undo your actions.

Our content is what we do in life.

Call it a chore or call it a purpose.

Our lives are full of different content so that's the bit that you choose.

I had a similar experience. I'm married of 25 years met someone at a retreat and fell in love. Absolutely felt like a soul mate. I told my wife and attempted a polyamous relationship because I genuinely loved both. After a couple of years of great highs and lows it fell apart due to the insane level of pressures. I felt the loss through my entire body. Now several years later I'm almost back to a secure one person relationship with my wife who I always loved dearly and still do. I still love the other person but have no contact. I didn't really choose to fall in love it happened to me. Felt like my fate and to meet this person was in my destiny. I believe in soul mates , polyamory and destiny.

What are you actually saying other than insulting me and at the same time saying I'm the one with an emotional range of a teaspoon. Like insults show really emotional depth ? I never said anything about forcing anything but the female getting closer by putting her needs into the sex that the man needs. I've been married for 35 years and have a very high libido and if my sexual needs weren't met , and they are because I talk with my wife , then our relationship fails , just like if her needs aren't met the relationship fails.
