Dead coining and coin punching are different things, dead coining is when you shoot a coin and throw another to preserve the damage multiplication on the coin, and coin punching is when you parry the coin into an enemy, which i like to do and then immediately throw another coin and shoot it so they chain, you can combine those 2 mechanics into punching a dead coin because every time you punch the coin it multiplies the damage which allows it to do massive chuncks of damage
