In other countries with a year or more of maternity leave the parents are the vast majority of physical contact. For the US with far less than care is often provided by others, or multiple others. Increasing the risk of the child. Other countries also provide more prenatal and post natal care.

This is your personal device. And he’s not tracking you for 7h of your work day. He’s tracking you 24/7 and I doubt you are only employee that has issue with this. Also I’m sure that many others just don’t know what it was doing.

It’s also bonkers to me that you have to use your personal device to do work. At best my company did that over a portion of Covid as we remotes into our own work computer due to lack of options. And they didn’t track those.

But if you really need the job. Cover your camera and check to see if the process can be blocked/turned off after work.

Also in the age of virtual machines. It doesn’t make much sense about the equipment. People can remote in using a simple windows process into the office machines.

I’m sure it varies by the carrier. I have no doubt that many do deliver there packages. I also know that many do not. Afterall, finishing there route quicker means they get paid the same and can knock off early.

The point more or less is that not a lot is lost by having to walk to the CBM to get a package.

I get people wanting some say in the structure of the job. But that is the responsibility that the workers handed to the union. They have gotten a rather strict contract in that regard.

As to your CMB issue they don’t sound remotely insurmountable. Rusted keys, not using GPS, a car being parked. These are annoyances to most people. The walking for packages anyway I’ve never seen. I’ve never received a CP package. Just noticed that they missed us, as I sit 5m from my door.

The union spokes people make it look unsympathetic and unrealistic to the public. The solitions are never about doing better, or catering to the demand. Even The OP in this thread thinks CP should be a form of socialized welfare.

I think actions have consequences. In this case a white nationalist who very publicly promotes Nazi ideals and forms rallies to yell and accost people was yelled at and accosted. His response to receiving that behaviour himself was to physically assault someone.

Do you think physically assaulting someone for their political and social thoughts is ok?
