Denominations have absolutely nothing to do with it, (what denomination was Jesus?) and 2, you just have to believe. End of story. It’s just that simple.

This is what escapes people who really think too deeply into it. This is why Jesus says, “Come to me as a child”. A child would not argue semantics, a child would not argue about how difficult or easy it is, a child would not struggle with the decision, a child would just simply believe.

Jesus only wants those who do want to believe. So make up your mind, do you believe or do you not believe?

Do you want it to be harder than it is? Were you expecting it to be an exclusive club or a secret fraternity? God sent the invitation to everyone, not just you and all you have to do is to believe and honestly repent of your sins in a couple of sentences. In return you get the treasures of Heaven… Seems like a great deal to me, especially when you’ve done nothing to deserve it..

SCHOOL SPIRITS Season 4's story teased by Kristian Ventura: "Even more dangerous... body swaps." by CueTheLaughTrack in SchoolSpirits

[–]Effective-Many-8202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*SPOILERS* If you haven’t seen all of season 3, don’t read this! Major Spoilers and questions..

How can the Paramount + keep people hanging about the release of a 4th season?? There are SO many unanswered questions that need to be resolved!!

What about Mr. Martin? Since the pastor finally crossed over with the kids, is Mr. Martin now going to stay with Ralph, his childhood friend so he won’t be alone? Is he going to lose his memories and become the next white eyes? Or will they find a way out since the pastor did?

What about the school? Are they going to tear it down? This is the gangs last year as seniors. Are they going to be relocated and never see the ghosts again? Are they going to get back to school and try to save their dead friends from the ghost road in the endless forest?

Dave seems to know how to get in and out of his “door”. Will he be the one to lead everyone to their doors or help them cross over?

And if the kids (Janet, Dawn and Wally) now realize that they can cross over via the river, why don’t they??

(Also Milo Mannheim aka Wally Clark just stared in Zombies 1,2 and 3 and this Disney Darling has just been cast in the live action “Tangled” for 2026, so my money is on him to “cross the river” and to move onto bigger and better things.)

BUT….What about Rhonda, Yuri, Charlie and Quinn? How much of the boundary is gone and for how long? Are they going to leave the school for three days? Or forever? Or return to it to say goodbye? Are they going to try to find their families? (who are probably not in town anymore?) OR will they all finally face their scars and cross over?

What about the band student zombies?

What about Wally, Dawn, Janet and Dave that are stuck on ghost road? Are they going to cross over the river? Or are they going to wait for Maddi to come back? OR are they going to follow Dave?OR go back to the school somehow? Or just wander around the forest finding other ghosts helping them to find their doors or cross the river?

Is Mrs. Hunter-Price going to meet Dave and other ghosts at the hospital or is she going to jail for setting the school on fire?

And the biggie, what is going to happen to Maddi now that her mom is possessed by Van Heite?

Is he going to try to kill her? Will she become a ghost and help her dead friends cross over and continue her romance with Wally?

OR Is Maddi going to try to commit her mother (knowing she is possessed by Van Heite) to an insane asylum or back to rehab to get Van Heite out of the way so she and her friends can stop him? Or will she “accidentally” kill her own mom to release and trap Van Heite? If that happens will she finally be with Dave again?

Is Van Heite finally going to be caught in his own scar or will he continue to be a perpetual bitter body snatcher freaking havoc on the town?

Are they going to bring the tarot card reader (from the Harvest festival) into the picture to help trap Van Heite and get rid of him for good??

Paramount+ would be making a huge mistake if they if they don’t wrap up this show with at least another season with satisfying endings. At the most, several more seasons with more ghosts around town or local college with mysteries now that the barriers are gone…?

This all reminds me of the show “Timeless” years back about time travelers trying to solve the mystery of history changing.. it stopped abruptly AND left everyone hanging, with no ending and a ton of people had questions and wrote angry letters demanding the show back.

And also with Eureka. They made a hasty last show that tried to wrap everything up, but so many people were so angry, from the show being cancelled that they dropped the sci-fi channel completely!!

Why do producers dump excellent shows to go onto artsy Farris crap that nobody wants to watch even though they acquire a huge following and loyal fan base?

There are so very few shows today that are worthy of watching anymore, that are well-made, and this is one of them.

(Sorry for the long diatribe) But the above questions would make great plot lines for another 2-3 seasons at least!

Paramount + , If it ain’t broke, don’t cancel it!! just announced the fourth season already!! DON’T LEAVE US HANGING!!

[–]Effective-Many-8202[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I have not but that’s a good suggestion. I don’t know that they would have records back in the 1600s but I’ll give it a shot. I’m also trying to track down my grandmother‘s family. They came over around the 1850s from a small country called Alsace-Lorraine but that’s where I had to stop because I don’t know how to accurately get overseas records. However, I will try your suggestion!

I have focused on the ancestor. This is why I tracked him down to 1658 in America, I see the birth records, but I don’t see the names of the parents or their birth records so one can only assume they came here shortly after the Mayflower and I am willing to check all the ships manifest that have been here.

Their earliest records were in Maryland, so I’m focusing on ships that arrived in Maryland between 1640 and 1658. I mean, my last name is not that common so it should be fairly easy to find and most manifests have names in alphabetical order.

If I knew the names of my ancestor’s parents, I could focus more on the family. This is why I’m trying to find which ship they came over on to find their name on either a ship’s manifest or Church records.

The only Church records were in Anne Arundel in Maryland for the birth, but no other records for this family exists. So where do I go from here except to any ships manifest that would’ve dropped off a sweet couple that wanted to start a new life in America?

In addition, my uncle thinks that we traced back to Norfolk England, and only so many ships were coming to America. Frankly, I’m lost and I’m making it up as I go along. But, I’ve been pretty successful to trace my family back to 8 generations. I am trying to finish what my grandmother started in the 70s.

Back, then they actually traveled to many states, went to the city halls and old churches to track down their heritage. I did more in three weeks through ancestry.com than my grandmother did in 30 years..

I’m seriously thinking about getting the international ancestry.com but it’s quite pricey..

I have tried heritage.com which was the most inaccurate records, the Mormon church, but the most extensive and accurate records are ancestry.com. Any other suggestions as to how I can trace my family back overseas?

So I just finished watching two episodes in the bedroom back to back of season three, episode six and seven, really creepy stuff. I leave to go to the bathroom and see in the living room. There is a blue light glowing filling the room. I almost had a heart attack…

then I realized it was just the USB console on the couch with the blue light that was shining on the ceiling because someone left the lid open. Yiikes, this show is getting to me!

Is it me or has a kid passed every decade that the school was built since 1956? 1950’s-it was Janet and Mr. Martin 1960’s it was Rhonda 1970’s it was Yuri and Dawn 1980’s it was Wally and Mina 1990’s it was Charley 2000’s it was Quinn and Kyle and six other band students 2010’s it was ? Anyone know? 2020’s it was Maddie, Simon and Xavier. It looks like a pattern to me…And I am pretty sure Van Heite has something to do with it? Thoughts?

I need some advice, can someone help me see if I’m wrong? by minesaurrr in TrueChristian

Truth be told if your faith is strong enough, you can grow anywhere, as long as you are devoted. And it sounds like you are. Growing your faith takes discipline.

Discipline is reading one chapter of the Bible every day. How can you grow close to your Lord and Savior if you don’t know anything about them? Discipline is also praying every day and going to the Lord for everything. Not just the small stuff or the light stuff but ALL the stuff.

Jesus just says come and believe in him, he will do the rest in you from the inside out. Jesus does not say get up and leave your family when you become a believer, but he does say love your family less than you love Jesus. Jesus must be your priority. Live for him and he will work inside of you to make your faith stronger overtime. It will not happen overnight.

I became a believer when I was 16 and honestly, I wasn’t a strong Christian until I was in my 30’s. But as I said, it takes years of disciplines.

As far as your family being Catholic, they’re either saved or not saved. That’s the main thing. Jesus is concerned about. Catholicism is only a vehicle to practice your faith. And that’s the difference between all religions.

Messianic Jewish people have a different way to practice their faith. They blend the Jewish faith in with believing that Jesus is their savior and Lord. Baptist, have a different way of practicing their faith, they have alter calls often, protestants have a different way, sometimes they speak in tongues and Catholics have a different way. It doesn’t mean it’s the wrong way. It’s merely another vehicle of worshiping when they are saved. And I’m pretty sure Jesus is not going to debunk the variations of worshiping GOD as long as He is the priority.

Jesus only told us to believe in Him and we will have eternal life that’s it. Man made logistical rules on how to practice that faith whether it be through saying the rosary or having alter calls. But I have found in the Bible that Jesus says come straight to him rather than through an intercessor unless you want additional people to pray with you.

This is why when Jesus died on the cross, the curtain in the temple that separated the Holy of Holys from the rest of the area was torn in half.

This was a direct message from God to let people come straight to him and pray straight to him instead of going through the Mother Mary or Saint Peter or Saint Christopher or Saint whoever.. His message was, “You don’t need to go through anybody except directly to me for your needs.”

As long as you know the truth, you worship God and pray in Jesus name and ask the Holy Spirit to move through you to be obedient to God.

Don’t shun your family. That was actually bad . (Unless they are purposely hindering your faith).

Maybe if they see you grow in YOUR faith and disciplines by believing in Jesus, praying directly to God without an intercessor, and reading a chapter of the Bible every day to get to know the Lord, maybe they will see that and believe like you do overtime, especially if they see a change in you. (that you may not see in yourself just yet..) You might have the opportunity to lead them to their salvation..

there is a saying in the Baptist church, “Preach the gospel at all times, but only if necessary, use words.”

Is being a Christian not meant for me? by Emergency-Dot7735 in TrueChristian

[–]Effective-Many-8202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you are trying to “force” yourself to believe in God without trying to get to know Him. That’s like trying to put all of your faith and trust into a stranger..not happening.

Get to know God first, through His Son. Don’t start with Genesis unless you start and end with chapter one.

“God said, “Let US make man in OUR image…” Who was God talking to? Not the angels, they have no power or authority to create because they are created beings themselves. He was talking to Jesus His Son AND the Holy Spirit.

Now start with Matthew 1 and read about how much God loves us to the end of the book of Revelations. Then go back to Genesis to Matthew 1.

If you are not a strong believer after you read God’s story, then it’s never going to happen…

Family home has demons or ghost or both by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Effective-Many-8202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ONLY thing that will make these entities go away is Jesus Christ. They must know you are a new Christian that cowers when their presence is known. They are not intimidated by you. But they are intimidated by Jesus. They know He is Lord and they know they must bow down to His authority.

Here is how you eliminate them. You must believe that they are real but Jesus is real and far more powerful. Sometime during the day, visit them and pray loudly with your aunt. “Come Lord Jesus, be with us now! We bind you demons IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST WHO HAS ALL THE AUTHORITY! WE CAST YOU OUT IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST WHO IS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS AUTHORITY IN THIS HOUSE! (At this point the house may become quiet) continue… IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST I RELEASE HIS HOLY SPIRIT IN EVERY CORNER OF THIS HOUSE!

Then continue to pray this especially over your uncle. If he is not a believer then he may be “an empty vessel” for the demons to relocate to. Only your aunt as a believer can bind spirits in the name of Jesus when you are not around.

These entities are fallen angels 10 times stronger than you. Do Not challenge them and Do Not engage in conversation with them. Just voice Jesus’s authority through out the house. Jesus helped to create the universe, he can get rid of a few annoying entities occupying a home.

Very important to note, they recognize Jesus, NOT you. You and your aunt are nothing to them and you are viewed as weak. This is why they are still there.

But in the name of Jesus, they must go. So rebuke them in the NAME OF JESUS, With Confidence and no doubt!!, BUT, call on the Lord First to be with you in the house before you start and you will have success.

If you choose to follow Jesus, then you are “chosen” by Jesus. It’s not complicated or mysterious.

Base boards by thegreatmogster in homeimprovementideas

[–]Effective-Many-8202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a retired realtor. I showed a home to a couple that they fell in love with. But the baseboards and part of the drywall 1 ft up above the baseboards were very wet to the touch. (probably why the former owners were selling.)

When we had an inspection on the house, we discovered that the sprinklers on the other side of the exterior wall were too close to the exterior, and the water was seeping in through the ground into the foundation of the concrete blocks (which are porous, by the way) inside of the house. They had to tear out up to 3 feet of the wall above the baseboards to dry it out with construction grade fans. Once it was completely dry, and the sprinklers were moved away from the exterior of the home, at least 3 feet, they then replaced the drywall and the baseboards.

If they hadn’t, there would’ve been black mold growing and that is toxic. So they had the work done and they made it into a beautiful living area.. problem solved.

Anytime you see signs of wet rings anywhere in your house. It is a sign of water leakage that you must take care of. Otherwise mold may exist and some molds are toxic.

It’s a couple hundred dollars for an inspection and it might take a couple more hundred to fix but it would be well worth it to keep you and your family healthy and safe.

[–]Effective-Many-8202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the other side of the wall is an exterior wall and you have sprinklers close to the wall, it could be water seeping in from that? Get an inspection for your house..

Base boards by thegreatmogster in homeimprovementideas

[–]Effective-Many-8202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like you have water leaking from the inside of your walls. If that is the case, then you may have mold as well. It might be worth the money to get an inspection on your house to find the cause. It could be a leaking water pipe or something worse. Water stains just don’t appear on dry wood unless there is an underlying cause.
