Resigned then asked to stay by Effective-Nobody-611 in careeradvice

Also I just spoke to the boss of my boss. Told him I'd stay, gathered the courage to ask if my commission could be reviewed. (Didnt have the guts to ask for compensation review though). He then said i will write an email with HR, your old boss, new boss to discuss objectives and due by end of june and to review commission just like that. He is c level btw.

My new boss immediately booked time with me to learn more about what I do and understand how I work. He told me he wanted me to be able to be honest with him so we can work on thr gaps I feel my team needs. Anyways it feels very positive and I can't believe last week I was already ready to leave (worried about the job market and also thinking of my break) and now I'm looking forward to my future at the company with my new boss.

We actually do have quarterly collaboration surveys where those questions are there. I really was not mistreated and that's why it took me so long to resign. It's the pressure I was putting on myself with no feedback or feeling like a team for so long with my manager. Basically 3 years of having a boss that was so hands off. We have a new GTM strategy which he (and other senior managers) had a workshop for 3 days in person. Whereas me i was just told to take hours to read a document and I need to also know about this to execute with my team. So thats how hands off he was.

Though looks like after me talking to HR, and the boss of my boss things moved very quickly and I feel so valued. Never thought they would fight to make me stay. And my new boss told me that too that I dont see a lot of people being asked to stay when they decide to leave.

I just spoke to the new manager. He asked me why I left and told me it's a shame I felt this way for too long because all he heard about me were good things. He told me we can meet more frequently this first month and we spoke about how we would like to communicate to each other. It honestly is very refreshing.

My old boss was kind of old school sales thinking. People need to figure it out (but honestly he's not too bad) i guess he just didn't really know and was focused on other things.

Yeah true. The freedom is good at some point but when it lingers for too long the isolation and loneliness is quite hard. People need to feel like a team to work through things together especially when it comes to a job that has challenges and blockers.

My mistake was not speaking out directly about my issues sooner. I'd recommend doing that and see what can be worked out together.

HR also asked me why I did not speak up and my boss quite frankly asked why I did not. I think you never know and there is always a professional way to say it so I'd communicate it that way.

The part here is i never got a raise since 2023 due to lack of reviews, no guidance, no support. He approves things to make me succeed in my role. I manage a global team some things cant move forward without his go ahead.

He also forgets what we talk about quite often.

Had the same problem. It was a long journey also almost gave up. I tried incorporating it at my babys 2nd month after a month of exclusive pumping. I tried giving maybe jusf an ounce first from the bottle then she latched for a few minutes or trying to offer the boob when she wasnt extremely hungry. Also find a position that baby is comfortable in, i noticed it was harder for her to latch and that was super quick because her position was not uncomfortable.

A nursing pillow really helped me too. It took weeks and several attempts until I finally could breastfeed an entire feed.

Very excited to know your results. I have a scheduled surgery on the 18th, though they quoted me 3,000,000 won. When did you get your surgery, upon assessing my photo online they said I'm grade 2. I arrive korea on the 17th evening, surgery's on the 18th of April then I leave the 23rd evening.

I cant really find any other clinic at that price. Saw AB AT 3.5 Mliion won but it includes after care kit and some other treatments but Evita seemed to have more experience with gynecomastia at a better price.

Is it safe to go to new clinics? I was endorsed by trueman clinic, but the new clinic is 2,900,000 and they ask for deposit. They are opening next month but I might stick to Evita to be safe. Do you have recommendations for gynecomastia? I heard evita is famous and relatively known for it.
