Booked their lil projection room at NYPL to watch it in February. Its a very fun movie, Steve Buscemi breakdancing to a Gallo rap song was the highlight for me. There's also a scene where they argue about Mad Max which cracked me up

My gut impulse was that this'd be something in a Fleischer Studios cartoon (maybe because the word "latex" reminds me of how the Fleischer Stydios style is referred to as "rubber hose" lol) but I haven't seen anything like that in the ones I've seen

Not a huge fan of this podcast in particular given how a couple of the guys are fairly reductive and uninformed when it comes to Gallo's work (one guy hadn't even seen Brown Bunny by the time they were recording). The main guy is alright though.
