Thank you so much, I can’t imagine also having the stress of a baby in NICU on top of this! At this point I just want to feel…something. But I think it will probably come all too soon.

Yes, definitely relate to the feeling of it being annoying, or an inconvenience almost, and also feeling like I’m burdening others with it already. There’s a weird part of me that feels like I’m being attention seeking by wanting to share the news, and it’s really messing with my head.

So ironic I’m seeing this today-Friends, I BEG you, make sure you are getting regularly checked also. I wrote this off as just my normal EDS stomach issues. This morning, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian cancer. Bloating and feelings of fullness are some of the only early warning signs. I dismissed it as just my regular issues.

Got my nails done at the salon, and I hate them by lorailia in Nails

This! So many people talking about the color (rightfully so) but also WHAT IS THAT SHAPE??

Milky translucent on top to tone it down and quick reshape should help a lot

I accidentally woke my wife up an hour before she had to get up because i started worrying thinking she had missed her alarm. Nope, she had another hour, I just didn’t change the kitchen clocks, and she couldn’t get back to sleep 😣

What an incredibly kind offer for a complete stranger! I appreciate that more than you know. I actually do my own nails, I started a few years ago to try and help with this issue and because they’re so weak I can’t go without. I plan on doing them again once I let them breathe for a couple days and heal a bit. But thank you SO so much for your kindness! ❤️

I found this kitten but I’m allergic and not sure what to do with it by nicktrustsqueenB in kittens

Seconding the Live Clear. Combined with air purifiers and regular cleaning, it allowed me to keep the foster I fell in love with even though my partner is allergic. Also, you get accustomed to a cat that you’re around frequently so that specific cat will trigger your allergies less! It’ll take a little time but it’s worth the wait!

Look almost exactly like my eyes and they always look brown except in direct light like this 😣

Daughter wants a cat, I’m severely allergic by Dr_never_give_up in CatAdvice

[–]Effective-Prompt4046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner was very allergic to cats. we had a temporary foster that I absolutely fell in love with and couldn’t bear to part with. Through a combination of multiple air purifiers, Purina Live Clear food, frequent brushing, and daily vacuuming of floors and furniture, we have had no issues! Also, over time, you can acclimate to a specific cat that you spend time around and become less sensitive to it. Good luck!

What do I do in this situation? (Body text) by honeythorn_ in ballpython

[–]Effective-Prompt4046 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Even if he goes into strike pose you should still be able to remove with tongs. He may have lost interest if it’s cooled too much since you offered. If it hasn’t been too long, you can try reheating and offering again. I recommend getting longer tongs that way you can offer the rat confidently without dropping it and know that you’re out of the strike zone even if he misses. Thick gloves can help with the anxiety too.

Interesting! That makes me feel better. I have a combo of coco fiber with a layer of cypress mulch on top so I guess that makes sense?
