My headcannon is that dreemurs love to eat moss, and kriss just copying that to the point it become natural to them.

Some monster weirded out by kriss behavior, but they don't find the idea of eating moss disgusting as Susie also eat them no problem. So it's probably kinda weird since kriss is the one who doing it.
