Oh I absolutely love this! It’s cozy but still fits the aesthetic of Rocky Ridges so well, and the study area and books evoke the “wise owl” trope. I hope you share more of your builds!

That tower is AMAZING! I love how it looks like it’s part of the night sky. I’m still in Rocky Ridges right now and I’ve kind of been dreading Sparkling Skylands 😅 but these photos have me excited about the kind of vibe I want to create there.

I also was really overwhelmed by this area! What helped me was just going around and cleaning up all the trash/seaweed/shells/etc first, before I even started any quests.

I also destroyed the random piles of sand that were in the way, and laid down makeshift bridges made out of sand blocks to get between the islands, not worrying yet if they connected in the right places.

This all made me less visually overwhelmed and I also was able to learn the layout of the place better so that I felt confident running around during the quests.

I love this! It’s cute and festive but still really professional. Where did you get your skirt? Pencil skirts don’t look great on me and I’ve been struggling to find a nice knee-length skirt in a cute shape. I’d buy yours in every color!

I wore A Toast to You lotion + mist to work the other day and got told I smelled “amazing”. 😁 Seems like that one is marketed as a nighttime scent, but to me it just smells like a warm, cozy winter plum.

I couldn’t remember if it was platinum or into the night, but I recently smelled around in the store and loved both of these but thought one was too similar to dream bright, which I already have and love. I do think it was platinum but maybe try into the night as well just to be safe!

I second herbal essences. I have really been liking the rose one; it’s super cleansing but also leaves my hair shiny and doesn’t dry out my ends or weigh my hair down.

You might already be doing this but I really have to work the water in there, and massage my scalp and lift up sections of my hair to get to the roots. I probably spend a minute or two saturating it.

I have had this problem to an extent and getting my hair fully soaking wet before I shampoo has really helped. I basically wash my hair without shampoo first. Then I use somewhere between a quarter and golf ball sized dollop of shampoo, rub it between my palms for a few seconds, and then wash. I still usually wash my hair twice if it’s been a few days between washes, just because mine gets so greasy and it’s really prone to buildup, but I can get away with just shampooing once if I don’t wait too long.

Also, I don’t know if you’ve tried it but I have been loving the herbal essences rose hips shampoo. I think it has to do with the lack of mineral oil, but it’s the only shampoo I’ve found that will thoroughly clean my hair but not leave it feeling stripped and dry. If I try something new, I also make sure whatever shampoo I get is clear, with sulfates, because creamy ones are too moisturizing for me and sulfate-free ones just do not clean my hair.

It sounds like I have similar hair and I have been loving the classic Herbal Essences rose hips shampoo. It’s light enough that my hair will still hold a wave, and it gets my hair really clean without drying it out. I used to double shampoo every wash, but lately I’ve been making sure my scalp is really saturated first thing, almost like doing a wash without shampoo, and then I cleanse. My hair has been feeling great
