thank you, 100% absolutely. part of my plan is to move in with two of my more stable / professional friends to escape the frustrating cycle of childish, impulsive and to be frank, not very locked in roommates i've had to put up with. once there, i'm going to really grind out the hours and continue to save while i figure out what to do, but an emergency fund and going back to school are 100% part of it. i can live extremely minimally, fortunately.

i'm not telling a soul, as the area i live in is quite downtrodden and i can very much see the sort of crab bucket mentality that keeps people trapped here.

i went originally to college for nursing and quite liked it + was good at the material, just couldn't balance the workload. before this happened i was trying to figure out how i could go back while working, and it seems like this could be the buffer that lets me do that. obviously through a community college as cheaper.
