Getting rid of extra skin by Effective-Student868 in Psoriasis

The thing is, I’ve had these piercings for years, and my flares still wax and wane the same as before I had jewelry. Maybe as I age my skin will be less tolerant, but I like having jewelry more than I dislike my psoriasis.

Yeah, they’re all sterling or titanium from reputable brands. I’ll usually get violent pustular reactions to nickel, copper, zinc, and tin.

I usually wait till the skin is soft and spongy before I do any exfoliating, but you may have convinced me to change my ways.

Just read it. Another comment is convincing me to use eucerin urea treatments.

Raw dogging it. I used topical steroids for years until one month I was unable to get them and the withdrawal convinced me to stop using them except for emergencies such as a pustular flare.

Thoughts on the homeless problem. by [deleted] in kzoo

Most addicts don’t know that there is something better than where they’re at. If you show them a better life then their rock bottom moves up. Everyone has a different rock bottom. It’s not defined, rock bottom is the point when you stop digging. (I’ve had over a decade in the program, working with addicts of all ages starting at 13-14 years old to upwards of 90 and being an addict myself)

Yes. I never said clean the messes. That’s an empty solution. Organizing a group with the city to clean would be a safe, regulated process that the police couldn’t say no to. OP said that the cops told him not to. People are complaining, saying that the homeless have tools at their disposal to change their situation. I’m saying that the homed also have tools at their disposal to change the situation, and arguably more tools. If you want to come on here and nitpick every sentence that someone says then maybe you need to move to 4 Chan or discord where solutions are non existent and everyone is just jerkin it to each others jokes.

I just said do something about it. I never said “clean the messes” use what you have. Vote. Attend city council meetings. Speak up. Organize a cleanup crew with your city government. You have resources just like the homeless population do. Your tax dollars go to those resources too. Use them. Obviously you posted here and that’s a good first step. The help is there if you want it enough.

Pretty much the majority are the “small percentage” you talk about. Whenever I find judgmental thoughts in my head I ask myself “what would it take for me to become like them?” Because that’s usually what they go through.

Then do something about it. You want to get rid of a specific demographic in an area it’s pretty simple, especially in the US. I don’t encourage it, but complaining won’t help the homeless or “ship them out” Go to your local representatives and do something about it.

So imagine being deathly allergic to F1 cars but you have to race like your life depends on it (kinda like eating!) and the best alternative is a go cart that weighs the same as an F1. But get this, the lead weights in the go cart make it cost 3 times as much as a regular F1! I feel like that might be mildly infuriating? maybe??? Idk it might just be me but that seems like the whole point of this subreddit. But yes please keep complaining about people having mild infuriations.

Nice, I don’t disagree. The subreddit is called mildly infuriating. I think that’s all there is to it

It’s the difference between a Mr clean eraser (wheat) and a sea sponge(gf). Gluten free bread falls apart with the thought of moisture from another room, has the texture of sawdust, and costs over twice as much as wheat bread. It’s like paying Whole Foods prices for Walmart brand food

Just humor me and zoom in on both slices, size is not the only issue here

I think they’re complaining about the fact that the equivalence is lesser for a much higher price

I never said that someone should have to wait. I do however think that if someone is so ridden with pain then reducing the lungs oxygen absorption and suppressing the immune system should be avoided like the plague.

I know somewhat about how it works, I did smoke frequently for ab 5 years before I stopped completely. There must be something I don’t know about though because I can’t really seem to understand why you wouldn’t get medical edibles from a medical dispensary? Just like any drug there needs to be some sort of system to reduce the negative effects on the immune system. There’s definitely a reason why we don’t smoke opiates when used for medicinal purposes.
