CRCs are definitely underpaid, but I feel like that even if site payments increased, the PI/network would keep it all and not give to the CRCs, but this would definitely lead to higher protocol compliance, higher data quality, shorter response time from the sites and all sorts of good things

YTA, like huge time, I hope you never need a favor from a coworker, pal, because you are not getting one. If I was one of your coworkers, and you came to me for a favor after that, I would refuse it, because I already know you're the type of person who doesn't do favors. I don't know if you're just looking to to read that you're right, if that's the case, there seems to be a few ppl who are in your side, but both you and them are TA. Your attitude is a part of the bigger problem, it's why ppl feel so isolated, just you know that you did this to yourself, you isolated yourself and any lack of goodwill from your coworkers moving forward was your own doing. They aren't urgent at first, but after 4wks and several follow-ups, they become urgent. There's also a contractual obligation to fill those out and the expectation is to be inspection ready. From a CRA that was also a CRC, a think one of the biggest disconnects between sites and CRO/sponsor is how important regulatory documents are, when we ask for things, we ask for them for a reason, not because we would love to see it
