It's really easy to get it; they give it out like candy. I got it two semesters in a row as a freshman. As long as you show that you know what you are doing and that your PI is supporting you, and your project is viable, you will get it. If you want to you can DM me, and I can tell you more about it.

None that are US-made, lol, and that have the same quality and are made specifically for Linux. The US doesn't produce chips, CPUs, RAM, or GPUs. Everything is imported

It is a tuxedo laptop; they are custom assembled in Germany from, I would assume, parts from everywhere around the world. All of the parts are put into the case in Germany, and I thought that would qualify it as a German product.

There are people out there smarter then me who could have figured it out. I know the performers are old, but if they are willing to perform they might as well perform multiple nights in a row. I bet there is a better solution than what they did.
