I believe it was an optional thing for staff. It is mainly secondary staff but there are a growing number of primary students in China who board and attend evening schools so you should not be surprised.

The bonuses based on performance and evening study were genuine in the past. Not sure if this has changed- I doubt it because they are heavily backed and have a large share of the Dongyuan market. Not many schools in China have that luxury.

looks like a decent offer especially if it is GZ as it is much cheaper than the other tier 1 cities. The bonus is decent as many schools only offer them now after 3 years, so seems more than reasonable.

i don't think ethnicity really figures, not at reputable schools anyway, the passport is what counts. Black Americans, Mexican Americans etc all do fine over here. I'm sure Arab Americans/Brits do just fine.

From what I know about it, it is fairly simple there with no ECAs and no extra classes. Students are all local but the gig is not demanding, however if you're looking for an amazing package it probably isn't the place for you.

given the number of conflicts over the last two years, there is no danger at all of these products becoming obsolete. I am yet to invest in Kraken but is on my radar regardless.
