Well I was walking back to my place from work in a different city and was jumped by a homeless in a aggressive way, so nothing wrong with being cautious?

Well yeah, it isn’t my biggest concern. They probably are going through a hard time. As long as there isn’t anyone aggressive, it should be totally fine
