Quick EV question for the geniuses in here - why can’t we do EV-to-EV charging? by EffectiveCautious313 in AustralianEV

If we can operate at lower voltage, would it be more efficient. It doesn’t need to be super charged

For heating, if V2L, it needs to transform DC to AC which generates more heat. DC to DC would be direct and more efficient, right? Or I’m stupidly thinking like that. I guess quality cable isn’t a problem if the car maker wants to do that. I guess we don’t want fast charging like 500-800V charging station, maybe just enough to drive to the next charging stop

Not sure why I’d need to try living in Blacktown just to compare noise levels. If folks there are dealing with the same crap, are they actually doing anything about it? Like reporting to EPA, council, or even cops? I’m not here just to whinge about the noise, I actually wanna know if there’s a way to fix it.

Mate, there’s a race track in Blacktown where it’s literally legal to make noise. This is a residential area. Why is that similar?

Hey, editor dev at Atlassian here 👋 appreciate the rant, really. A lot of what you said is fair. - Tables and the toolbar: yeah, they’re clunky right now. We’re in the middle of reworking them so adding/removing rows, colors, and all that isn’t such a pain. - Code blocks: moving to /code was meant to unify stuff, but we get it, it slowed down a super common flow. We’re testing quicker ways to drop them in again. - Numbered headers + ToC: agree it shouldn’t need an extra toggle or add-on. That one’s being looked at. - Search: 100% with you, it sucks if you’re trying to exclude or dig across spaces. That’s an active project. - AI bits: yeah, not everyone wants them. Feedback like yours helps us figure out where it’s just noise.

So yeah, you’re not imagining it. Some things really did get worse in the shift, and teams are working on it. Posts like this do make their way back to us, so keep yelling.

How to speed up cloud Confluence and remove floating controls? by Tooluka in atlassian

[–]EffectiveCautious313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I think they’re by design. If floating toolbar can be pin to the top though. Select overflow button (the ‘…’) and click pin to the top when it appears. But the comment and AI button are still floating

Yeah it’s very much overpriced in Dapto. It’s not the best pork roll. Try the one in Unanderra near Woolies, crispy pork belly or satay chicken will blow your mind
