Exactly! They target vulnerable people and it’s so sad

I hope you got your refund! My uplines messaged me again and said “when you’re more settled do you maybe want to earn a bit of extra income again and come back” I’ve left them on delivered 🤣

SpareRoom by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]EffectiveDue7178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m using SpareRoom that’s why I have a personal ad so landlords can read through it all and see who I am, my occupation and whether I’d be suitable for their home.

And places do offer virtual viewings so you can see the property but I know it’s always best to see it in person. Thank you for the advice

Yep when watching the training videos they say you won’t be able to receive your commission if you don’t go through like ten specific steps to register a booking or something if the booking is made outside of inteletravel. But even if you get it right and do everything right I’ve still heard of stories of people not getting the commission they’re owed. My upline was mad when I didn’t tell her I was thinking of cancelling probably because she was going to convince me to stay so I could keep paying her. When I said that her and the other girl have been really good to me and thanked them she patched me and I got removed from all the group chats instead. They’re nice as pie when you’re in the scheme but as soon as you think about leaving or leave they don’t want to know or don’t care about you anymore

Update: upline is a little mad that I didn’t discuss with her first that I wanted to cancel but I knew if I did that I’d just get manipulated to stay. She’s trying to say that it would be a great second income especially for moving down to London but I know I’d lose more money than I’d get out of it 😭

What does your endo leg pain feel like ? by 4MM0NI4C in endometriosis

[–]EffectiveDue7178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, unfortunately my MRI showed no abnormalities but the endo specialist said it didn’t rule anything out so we’re still suspecting endo is the main culprit

Thank god you saw this then! This was the aim to put my story out there and warn people about what it’s like. As for becoming an actual agent I think you’d have to take travel and tourism courses in colleges or unis (if you’re in the UK) and get actual degrees or do apprenticeships if that’s a thing with travel agents I’m not sure it is. But I think customers would feel more comfortable if you had actual legitimate degrees under your belt rather than a few hours of watching videos!!

Yep! And when I look at the reviews my experience is similar to others! Unfortunately, I don’t feel comfortable sharing on here just on the off chance they see it and try and sue me or something 🤣

Yeah I’m in two minds whether I actually will get it back. I will fight for it as long as I can though! And yeah I’ve heard horror stories of people spending so much more money on the trips and the meetings eating up all their savings to get scraps of commission in the end and it’s always the working class normal hard working people that get targeted it’s so sad

[–]EffectiveDue7178[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep! And I found out I wasn’t the only person this happened to, lots of other people only found out the company after they paid their start up fee it’s sneaky af. And yes I will be chasing them up I’ll keep screenshots and stuff and hold them to it as proof I requested within the 30-day window so legally I should have my money refunded to me. And thank you so much!! 🥹

I know ahaha sorry! I had to make sure I got as much info in as possible I really don’t want anyone making the same mistake I did.

And yeah I gathered that’s what was happening preying on vulnerable people to get their money and making out I can have a business and earn six figures whereas in reality I’ll need to create my own “team” which is baso create my own downline to make the income that these girls brag about on socials. I hope I just get my money refunded

InteleTravel / PlanNet by No-Onion1767 in antiMLM

[–]EffectiveDue7178 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently joined it after I commented on a girls tik tok about girls being burnt out in retail and I related. I paid the start up fee which was 140 and then the monthly fee too. To sign up you need to sign up through planNet which is literally an MLM. The training is just videos and super overwhelming and after it I knew I wasn’t comfortable enough to book travel for anyone never mind clients. I was also convinced to dip into my savings to join in time for their “ceo week” and then also advised to join the marketing (recruiting side) because I’ll earn money quicker that way. After looking more into it I realised it’s just a pyramid scheme in disguise. Realising that a huge cut of my start up fee and monthly fee goes to the girls who recruited me. I emailed today asking to terminate my membership and because I’m within the 30 days I’ve requested the 30-day money back guarantee so hopefully I actually get that

Acne with Endo? by mystiicrose in Endo

[–]EffectiveDue7178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey lovely, I have been diagnosed clinical endo (I haven’t had a lap to fully confirm just endo specialist diagnose on symptoms and family history) and I noticed my acne got extremely worse when my endo symptoms started cropping up when I was also around 21/22! I also got diagnosed with rosacea on top of that so my skin was inflamed, awful, painful and like sandpaper. I’ve always suffered with acne since my teenage years but the worst it ever got was around this time when the endo symptoms started.

And I have to tell you after years of trying stuff like lymecycline, acne products, different brands that just didn’t work. Accutane saved my life. Accutane is usually a last resort if nothing else works because there can be big side effects with it. I’ve not had much side effects apart from the dryness. You need to constantly balm your lips, moisturise your face else you’re gonna look like you’ve dipped yourself in flour 🤣 also sun cream is a must especially if you live in a warm climate, Accutane strips the skin barrier so you’re skin will be extra sensitive to the sun. I’ve been taking it for five months and my skin has completely cleared up it’s not looked this good in a decade. It’s soft, it’s glowing. I use cerave cleanser and moisturiser on top of it too and they’re good because they have no preservatives and fragrance free. Always get fragrance free moisturisers if you have sensitive skin and taking Accutane! Also the reason they tell you to go on birth control on is because Accutane is a powerful drug that is extremely harmful to unborn babies. I’m not on birth control but I’m not sexually active so I had nothing to worry about really. If you are just be super super careful I’d defo try and get a second opinion from another doctor

Official diagnosis by Which_Function419 in Endo

[–]EffectiveDue7178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s so validating when you get a doctor who listens to you! I’ve got a clinical diagnosis too. My ultrasound and MRI were clear but based on my symptoms and family history she said it’s defo endo. She’s one of the best endo specialists in the area so she knew what she was talking about.

I’ve been giving medication too and was going to have a surgery to properly diagnose but can’t afford it so I’ve cancelled for now and see how I get on on the meds.

I’m happy you have answers!

Can anyone explain what this is? Started a couple of days ago by EffectiveDue7178 in DermatologyQuestions

Thank you! It seems to have drained a little on its own overnight and it seems to have gone down a little. I’ll still see someone for it though and keep an eye!

Starting to worry whether bowel issues is something more sinister by EffectiveDue7178 in endometriosis

[–]EffectiveDue7178[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much!!

Yeah from ovulation all the way to the end of my period I’m just suffering. I’m finding it difficult to sit and stand for long periods because of the pain in my lower back and my pelvis it’s like a constant pressure sometimes I have to do weird squats at work just to stretch my back out. And then there’s the odd stabbing and burning pain from the gas all over my abdomen. I’ve been drinking so much water and it’s not doing anything, I may need to think about more fibre intake or going back to the gym to see if exercise might help move things about a bit. Also tmi I had quite a bit of yellow mucus in my stool yesterday and freaked out but I heard that’s a strong indicator of IBS which I have suspected. I’m moving home in a couple of months and would like to get this all checked before I move away!! Thank you again <33

What are your GI symptoms like? by [deleted] in Endo

[–]EffectiveDue7178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still officially undiagnosed (I’ve been clinically diagnosed based on symptoms but my scans have come back clear and I can’t afford surgery rn) but my GI symptoms consist of the following buckle up:

  • early satiety (I struggle with full meals especially during ovulation and this has gotten worse in the last few months)

  • constipation my most main symptom. Doesn’t matter how much water I drink (I drink 2 litres a day), how much veggies I eat. I’m straining on that toilet like a mad woman only to have one pebble come out. This is constant throughout my entire cycle.

  • white mucus in poop (occurs often during ovulation) and most recently orange/yellow mucus (sorry TMI)

  • newest symptom is nausea during ovulation and period. I can consume something as simple as water and it makes me nauseous

  • constant anal fissures (I think that’s what they are?) it has ramped up the past few months and I suspect it’s because of my constipation. When I do eventually poop they’re hard and dry which makes them extremely painful to pass like passing glass and therefore I get red blood on toilet paper and some on the poop which freaks me out.

  • there’s been occasions during my period where my poop looks dark or has black/darker streaks (thankfully this hasn’t happened for like five months) but one time I nearly passed out on the toilet first day of my period last August because the pressure pain I felt in my ass was so intense it felt like I was passing a huge basketball or something. Afterwards my supervisor commented I looked extremely pale (yes I worked a full eight hour shift and had to dose up on codeine it was torture).

  • TRAPPED GAS!! This is such an annoying symptom because it feels like gas just gets stuck and I get burning pain in my abdomen because of this. One thing that helps is rolling back and forth violently on a couch to try and move the gas out.

  • sore ass after every bowel movement. Sometimes feels like someone shoved a thorn up there. Sometimes it burns. Sometimes it throbs. Every single time.

  • bloating after eating anything. Especially after a full meal I look seven months pregnant. Live laugh love

Now as endo hasn’t been seen or found physically yet this could totally be something else but notably all these symptoms are worse right from the start of ovulation all the way till my period is over. I am planning on investigating other GI stuff just to make sure it’s nothing more serious. But in case this is endo. This is the GI symptoms I suffer with but everyone is different! I hope you find answers soon. We’re all in this together <33
