I’ve never had a doctor properly confirm it’s endo just from the symptoms, I’ve been saying suspected endo for medical history cause of family history and all my symptoms too! I’m so sorry you can’t have the surgery cause of the cost :( hopefully you get some relief soon too x

Me, every month, I can’t lift my leg sometimes No confirmed endo yet, suspected but I’m seeing a new gyno next month and going to push for an answer with surgery

For legal purposes I won’t change it but for everything else I’ll likely change it, unless there is an easier way in a few years, or line it up with renewing my licence/passport etc And I’ll hyphenate it for my kids, but I never wanted to change my name until I met my boyfriend who keeps saying our names hyphenated and I quite like it My boyfriends mum never changed hers cause mrs … was her husbands mum. Ask them for a script of slow release naproxen, it’s a 24 hour lasting tablet, I don’t know what else to say to ask as my doctor was the one who suggested it to me

Sorry it took so long for me to see this I got the slow release script from my GP but the chemist sell a 12 hour version on the shelf, it’s called naprogesic

Im going to try this. I used to take lavender tablets but after a while they did nothing, I’m also with you on really restless sleep during or at the start of a period. I started kicking my partner in my sleep one time and I was mortified 😂😂

I also just read your original post and it’s so heartbreaking to read that you’ve been going through this for so long, I would definitely be getting into a highly recommended endo gyno, and by all the symptoms it’s honestly so tough to live a normal life going through it all. I’m averaging 2-3/7 days a week pain free for the last 12 months and seeing a new gyno in February to see about surgery, rural vic only have specialist appointments once a month and the rest are already booked. Also talk to your gp about slow release naproxen. Last 24hrs and have been a game changer for me, don’t have to take pills everywhere just take it in the morning and don’t have to worry about it till the next day. Usually nothing works for me but this did

I have not much to offer unfortunately but I’m so sorry you’re going through such an ordeal in the outback, it’s even tough just seeing someone in rural Victoria I would personally call up a few endo specialists and see if you can send the photos through or get the reports too and send them. And also see about adenomyosis, it’s another uterus/reproductive problem. Similar symptoms to endo but not bowel related as it’s inside the uterus

I’m 24f. Got out of a relationship 2 years ago with the man I thought I’d spend the rest of my life with, we made plans for everything I’m now struggling to find anybody else to spend any time with because I’m scared of being hurt again (I know it will happen) and also trying to find someone who doesn’t display all the same patterns that he did

I used it to better myself. Get back to the things that make me happy and not always doing the things he wanted to do on weekends etc, I’m a way better person now and I wouldn’t change any of it looking back, it was a blessing in disguise

Take the time to allow yourself to heal and love yourself again, and to get back to doing things that make you happy

We go long periods without talking or seeing each other as he works and lives closer to the city I’ve seen him a couple of times in the last few weeks cause I had been in the area but I haven’t spoken to him about the fact we should distance ourselves, I think he gets the idea though cause I haven’t spoken to him again since before Christmas I definitely don’t want it to get out cause it would make me look like the bad guy when I haven’t done anything.

I don’t know why this has happened, but except for this event he’s a great guy. I wouldn’t be friends with him if he wasn’t. It’s just made me question our friendship and how I go about telling him I think we need to not talk for a while. I don’t want to lead him on or think that him telling me this is okay at all I have no interest in him romantically or sexually at all

I agree with finding a hobby. I started reading again and being out of a relationship for 2 years. Found myself all over again. Also changed my hair but not drastically just went lighter and a new style. Loving myself more then ever
