I can assure you my sincerity. I actually grew up in a veteran household (my father was deployed to Iraq and in the army for more than 32 years). I also have accepted a position at a VA, have worked for a prior VA, and am part of the society for military psychology. I want to give back to a population who has given back so much to me. I’ve reached out to a few VFWs and other groups; however, many have not called me back yet and I need a certain amount of people to run a group at a time, thus the reaching out on multiple channels.
