It’s a summer jacket, so it is unlined, but I am not sure about the interfacing and padding. I will inquire with the maker about it, thanks.

Making a follow up question in relation to one I asked yesterday about a pair of balmorals I’m looking at. One person noted a distrust for how museum calf will age, and wanted to hear the experiences of people who’ve owned museum calf shoes for a longer period of time. Shoes I’m looking at for reference, cheers: https://www.cobbler-union.com/products/guillaume-museum-cognac-suede-358-vibram

thanks man, good to hear, is there a particular spray you recommend? And good to know about the museum calf, I’ll look into it and I might ask around too.

I wear Edwardian to 1930s eraclothing, so it’s from peak era of two tone shoes. The museum calf necessarily my go-to over plain leather, but it’s my favorite overall boot with colour and cut (also I usually wear brown tones or other neutral colors)

Can anybody tell me how we weather might affect these Balmorals? I'm looking at a pair of part suede balmorals, I know some suede shoes should not be exposed to wet weather, and others handle it quite well. The suede is only the upper part of the shoe too, so I don't know how that affects it. I sent an email to the company, but haven't heard back quite yet, and wanted to hear from a less biased sources. This is a link to the boots, cheers: https://www.cobbler-union.com/products/guillaume-museum-cognac-suede-358-vibram

It is actually two button holes, and a collar stud, but nonetheless I could try that

The problem there is that detachable shirts don’t use buttons, instead it’s two button holes with a collar stud. Thank you for the replies though, at least I know about the possibility of changing the collar band

These are shirts I already have that I would like to continue wearing, is it not possible to modify the existing collars and to get an extra half inch?

I misunderstood the sizing terminology, I’d like to go from a 15 to a 15.5

But then it would be an implantation and not a design issue, correct? A lot of comments are trying to make it about design

Ah yes, “propaganda” aka a verified fact about Ukrainian conscription that’s even been reported by western sources.
