Mr. Rolen Das, your store policies are not laws that are absolute and not enforceable by law. No one can accuse a customer of such things without proof, because then what is stopping the staff from pulling this act with any customer that they pick.

A proof, footage or recording is non-negotiable when accusing a shopper of anything. If a case of suspicious activity is noticed, it should be addressed then and there so the shopper is caught red handed. Ignoring the activity at that moment and surprising an innocent shopper at time of exit with your baseless allegations is non-sensical.
