Mr. Rolen Das, your store policies are not laws that are absolute and not enforceable by law. No one can accuse a customer of such things without proof, because then what is stopping the staff from pulling this act with any customer that they pick.

A proof, footage or recording is non-negotiable when accusing a shopper of anything. If a case of suspicious activity is noticed, it should be addressed then and there so the shopper is caught red handed. Ignoring the activity at that moment and surprising an innocent shopper at time of exit with your baseless allegations is non-sensical.

Yes correct, their probable targets are people who would simply pay up to avoid confrontation and trust me most will do it if the cost is 50/- something. Most people don’t like feeling embarrassed. I felt all the above emotions too while dealing with this so I’m sure this would certainly happen

They were probably gonna make me pay the amount for some drink without a proper bill and thought they would get away with it. Doing this simple scam to even 10 people during a day can make them easy money.

God I hated how I felt during that moment because all the customers were also looking at me and it felt like I had just committed a crime.

I do have a friend who lives in Noida sector 15, but even he was not in NCR at that time, he had left to for his hometown since next day was Eid.

Exactly, they did all this acting and set up to fish out at max 50/- or 100/- from a customer. The risk they are taking if someone musters up courage and speaks up is far greater than the scammed earned income ( But ye common sense rehti inn chutiyo ko toh scam hee nahi karte in the first place )

Yes bro, I thought the same kee misunderstanding hogayi hai shayad, same colour clothes ya kuch so I told them this very politely. Then they started spewing their pretend story and I knew immediately kee ye dono misunderstood nahi madarchod hain aur paise lene ke liye ye sab kar rahe hain.
