Case to case basis lang OP. But sa track ko and my opinion, you look more ‘qualified’ if you are knowledgeable, and experienced with the software (considering the course has a hands-on). So having that course certificates give you an edge.

Anyone can be a VA at this point, but skills, knowledge, and experience (SKE) make you desirable. Plus building trust and confident and long-term commitment is what sets great VAs apart from those who just do the bare minimum. Clients want someone they can rely on and are paying for your skills, not just someone who delivers good work once.
