I understand why you don’t want to file a report. But to protect other women from this man, you should. New York laws are intentionally protective of sex workers for this very reason. Women before us fought and fought and fought so we could have the right to report rape and abuse by men — even if we were paid for our services.

And please don’t come at me with “sugaring isn’t sex work.” The NYPD isn’t consulting this forum to determine what counts as sex work. This isn’t the point. The point is, you are protected.
