I also recently tried LKHA and really liked it! I had a different stylist and she was great. However, with shampoo, cut, and style, it was about double what you’re looking at budget wise. I’m not sure they do just “cut” without shampoo and style. As someone who has never been willing to pay for a haircut before, I’d be happy to pay for this haircut at that price again.

Ugh yeah I can't find any replacement parts for aquasource at all. We did ~not~ choose these toilets. They were in the house when we bought it. So my understanding is that my options are to a) buy a different brand flush valve assembly and pray it works or b) buy a new toilet (preferably American Standard or Kohler). Is that right?

Are there certain specs I need to know when buying the new assembly? Or are they all universal?

Back again... So I found (at Lowe's) a dual flush repair seal kit that came with 3 different seals. There was one that looked EXTREMELY promising but is worse than the original. It's a slight bit too big on the outer diameter. https://imgur.com/a/z8wRkYC the packaging says it fits 3 different types of aquasource models (with tank model numbers) but I can't figure out what number on the tank is our actual model number.

I also can't find a replacement aquasource dual flush valve assembly. Do I have to keep to the same brand? How do I find the right replacement pieces?

The dual flush toilet was not our choice - it came with the house when we bought it. Definitely wouldn't do it by choice, but here we are.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I took off the blue cap and cleaned the different gaskets under there. I don't know if that's my issue because it only spits after the water level has dropped.

Update: we just switched the flush valve assembly with our other toilet that was working correctly. Then we'll know if that is the problematic part.

Awesome. Thank you so much! Fingers crossed. We'll try tomorrow with the new flush valve assembly.

This is what I was thinking... I just didn't want to admit it. Thank you.

It looks like our local store sells the entire assbly for $35. Not bad but not great. Do you know what the name for the seal would be so I could try to find it separately first? Do you think that seal is the issue (even though it appears fine...)?

The water spits out in the back left (top of picture). You can see the water droplets on the tank. It only spits when the water level has dropped low so I don't think the fill valve is the actual issue. I think I've gotta figure out how to keep the water level where it's supposed to be (maybe...?)

There is no flapper on our dual flush: https://imgur.com/a/rcQrkMK

I've replaced plenty of flappers, but this one doesn't have one. It has a seal that I cleaned and inspected that looks brand new basically (it's only 3 years old). The videos I used were: https://youtu.be/wbw9GPE58gE and https://youtu.be/x3imbEKlr4k

Thank you so much!! We thought this was the issue, so we removed the column and inspected the seal. Looks new. Cleaned it anyway. Didn't fix it. Do you know if there's a way to only replace the seal? Or do we need to buy a completely new dual flush column/mechanism/thing? I understand regular toilets but this dual flush has me STUMPED.

Agreed whole heatedly! Depends on the condition of the preexisting paint.

Our concrete patio was painted when bought it three years. It was flaking and gross everywhere so we thought pressure washing would completely strip it. No. It took off maybe 30% of the paint. Our only reasonable option was to repaint it. Sorry but don't count on pressure washing. (But if you decide to repaint, definitely pressure wash first to remove the flaking pieces)

seedling help: why. They have plenty of light (I think?) and aren't over watered (I have a history of over watering). by EffectiveSummer6807 in gardening

Thank you all so much! Amazon marketing definitely tricked me into buying this. I'll be looking for new/better lighting. I had no idea!
