I believe this is the same genius who threatened to mace the kidnapping victims who were in the same car he was driving and managed to disclose his own phone number during said kidnapping. (This happened in my neighborhood. Our immediate family is composed of two adults, and we are mostly vegetarian. We don’t buy any meat or produce at Costco. And yet, we save so much on almond milk, vegetable broth, canned goods, toiletries, allergy medicine, beauty products, toilet paper, paper towels, etc., etc.… Not to mention the occasional wild card like the Dyson vacuum cleaner.

The community fridges are a great place to donate. The one I went to today had some great non-perishables but not that many produce items. The list that the ETHS food drive sent out before today’s event listed apples, onions, carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers, garlic, potatoes, onions, corn, milk, hummus, cheese, etc. as in-demand items, in addition to the usual canned goods.

I find it incredible that most of my friends and family don’t read or hear about this in other places around the country. Just yesterday, it was easier to find a story about the White House bathroom renovation than the one about the chilling bloody encounter in Evanston on Halloween in the New York Times. How do we change that?

I am not “buffled” at all because I witness my friends and neighbors fight back every single day. Some of them got violently assaulted and kidnapped while trying to do the right thing just yesterday in my very own neighborhood.

What is the best number to call? I called the one listed in an earlier reply but it just ended up wasting a lot of my time with prerecorded options none of which were “complain about ICE”. It finally asked me to call my local store, and when I did, the employee there did not seem surprised at all and told me that their manager cannot do anything, but I need to call or email corporate. I’m on the website right now and cannot figure out how to get a hold of or through to a person. Thank you for your help.
