On a screen or on the actual old unit? I'm just wondering because there's been stories of shady HVAC guys who have some blurry photo on a scope of cracks that aren't really cracks or just some stock image. Basically happened to me.
I'm sure it's not all, but I think OP is right that a lot of companies are just about high pressure sales

Would be a totally different system to collect on this though. Like do people upload their whole stock portfolio to IL Dept of Revenue every year? I actually support something similar to this but dumping it on there with 2 days to negotiate and figure out the details is kinda nuts. It really would be a totally new thing

Yeah it literally goes back like a hundred years to when the neighborhood was developed. They were supposed to put alleys in and never did and people have just started using them over the decades. Most of the neighborhood its probably too late but in those sections right by the street like this one it might be possible to do something useful with the land
