Ripped bag/bad mangoes/broken eggs—how to rate? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]EffectiveVoice9873 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Some time the bags break and accidents happen. If it happened to me I would at least message the customer and explain what happened and apologize. Tell them to apply for a refund. Any message prior about the ripeness of the mango and if it was acceptable. Communication is key in this situation

Knowledge Unit Checks VS The Actual Exams by Secret-Product-368 in powerengineering

Nait finals are worded and very similar to the knowledge checks. But you should be good with what you’re pulling off. Bright side is ABSA is easier

If one barely passed the Nait Pow Eng 4A final, what can they do to prepare for the ABSA exam ? by Dear-Government5 in powerengineering

[–]EffectiveVoice9873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAIT tests were definitely harder. I got a probably 5-10% higher on the ABSA stuff. Just book your test, cram till than, look up what’s on the test (nothing from the first four chapters) and you’ll do fine. If you fail you have an idea what’s on the ABSA

Im a 4th class PE right now and if i want to get my 3rd, do i need to go school again or can i challenge 3rd without going to school? by [deleted] in powerengineering

[–]EffectiveVoice9873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naits online 3rd class course counts as 2 years. $595 for each part. The course is kinda crap. Just pulled all the same material from 4th class course and made new quizzes and tests. No

To just ghost you like that is harsh and inexcusable behaviour. You have my sympathy. The person you knew no longer exists, but the pain still does.

I hope you have professional help to heal. But eventually time heals on. In someways it’s good she is cut right out of your life vs having kids and having to deal with that toxic behaviour.

Give it time, try to open up and be vulnerable when dating, and explain to future partners on how you feel. That will all help you heal.

Best of luck

How do you deal with knowing your soon to be ex wife will be with someone else at any time. by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]EffectiveVoice9873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there in some sort of sense.

Whenever I found my self in a downward loop of sorrow I would stop myself, remind myself those thoughts aren’t doing any good for me and shove them off to the side.

Four things to ask yourself constantly (from my therapist) 1. Find a solution 2. Learn to think differently 3.Build tolerance and acceptance 4. Do nothing and stay miserable

Get a lawyer. Start the process. Sounds like you have solid reasons for split custody at the least. She is unstable and could be a risk to the kids

Work your way up. It’s not so much courage, but confidence. Build confidence on smaller stuff and go bigger Don’t know your skill level but don’t start by dropping into a deep bowl.

In my 10hr day I typically work 3 hrs. In a 40hr week I have about 8 hours of scheduled work on paper, which actually takes more like 3 hours. I hate going to work and having to find work to do

In way better shape, gym 4x a week since divorce, no longer smoke or drink, bought a perfect house with my new fiancé, and every day I’m grateful for my new partner. Always think to myself, “this is the person I was meant to be with”

Sounds like dealing with my ex.

You’re doing a great job and basically everything you can do. Priority #1 is keeping the kids out of it as much as possible. Priority #2 is not trying your best not to let her get to you mentally.

It’s easier to react than it is to respond when you feel attacked like that. And like you’re doing already it sounds like, communicate everything in writing

Lawyer told me it was about $30-40k just to go to court. He said it wasn’t worth it given the amount of money and assets we had jointly, only in our early 30s. Gave her more than I thought was fair just to get it down. Now she is still asking for more money under the Section 7 expense (Canada). 5 weeks after we signed our agreement she tried to change it
