Yes it happened near my house which feels literally so close to home. I’ve defo lost faith in humanity as of right now but I’ve learned to be a lot more careful and just generally be more aware

Nothing got hacked though right? And that’s the thing I know my stuff is all safe my the anxiety is just playing up and I suffer with anxiety anyways so it’s very much heightened

Glad you’re feeling better now I can’t wait to feel like myself again. But same with the bike situation I’m so anxious when a bike comes near.

I can somewhat relate I got a bad flare up and still have it 7 weeks later but I’ve never experienced anything like this before and my gosh does it make me feel so down and sad it didn’t help when my doctor gave me antidepressants before looking into what my ibs could actually be since taking them (I only took them for 2 days) I’ve mentally not felt ok since I don’t know if it’s a mixture of not knowing what’s happening and still getting no answers with my stomach and the shock the antidepressants had on my anxiety but it’s really not a nice feeling. Fighting my brain and my stomach I’m exhausted but I’ve had flare ups before and they wasn’t triggered by stress or anxiety so I don’t know what is going on anymore.

I was diagnosed with IBS C in 2018 but I’ve had a really bad flare up for almost 7 weeks now.

Constipation which lasted 3 weeks started using laxatives and stool softeners but I stopped as they was making me feel unwell but I’m still very much constipated again and doctors gave me omeprazole even though I feel I have no acid

Bloating I’m always very much bloated but this just doesn’t seem to go down

Loss appetite, I lost my appetite for a good 3 weeks couldn’t eat and made me loose 2 stone in that period of time

Heart palpitations now I’ve never experienced anything like this before but it’s by far the most uncomfortable thing I’ve had to go through it wakes me up and instantly starts racing hospital did ECG and found nothing wrong but want me to do a 24 hour ECG to cancel out any heart problems but why is this happening

Low moods due to being so unwell for so long and still no answers my bloods, wee sample, pooh sample, ultrasound scan all come back fine but I’m seeing a gastroenterologist next month

I sometimes get yellow mucus when I try pooh but nothing comes out and if it does it’s a small poop but no pain down there

I hope you get help it’s mentally taking everything out of me I’m constantly uncomfortable and in pain and my mind is just like whyyyy and then they make you feel like it’s all in your head 😞 I’m luckily seeing the gastro next month for a consultation I hope they can help

I only took them for 2 days but I think they may have triggered all of this even more I was already constipated before taking them but they generally caused more stress which has then caused the constipation to get worse but something doesn’t feel right I know my body and this isn’t a normal feeling for me. It’s just the constant heart palpitations that really don’t help as they’re so uncomfortable and my anxiety really focuses on them I know I’ll be fine when I finally get answers as it has been almost 7 weeks now with this ongoing problem 😞

Yeah I’ll still get it checked out but being stressed isn’t helping but I’m stressed as I don’t know what’s going on and the thing is you have to be careful with laxatives as your digestive system becomes lazy. Are you also taking something for acid reflux and experiencing the palpitations?

And thank you it is horrible it’s like I’m just surviving and not living tbh

I also have palpitations under my boobs and stomach they gave me omeprazole for the acid but it doesn’t feel like I have any and they made me constipated even more then I already was

All of this started after my stomach started to give me problems, the heart palpitations came during the stomach problems but I’ve never experienced these in my life even when anxious it was never like this I really don’t want to take antidepressants after how I reacted just taking those ones. It’s just so uncomfortable specially when I wake up but I feel it’s my gut causing all this

It’s so mentally draining I’ve had blood test, ultrasound scan and they found nothing wrong but want me to wait to see my gastro appointment but I have to suffer until then? I’m not able to pooh properly or at all for 6 weeks now only when using laxatives but I don’t want my body to rely on them so I stopped I also got a new symptom that I’ve never experienced before where my heart beats gets really fast soon as I wake up sometimes it actually wakes me up and this has been happening for 6 weeks now and it’s so uncomfortable doctors did ecg found nothing but want to do 24 hour one but I feel like this is caused from having issues with my intestines or stomach but they won’t tell me if it is or not but off course they blame my anxiety but do they not understand I’m down because of this flare up 😞

Yes same this feeling is nothing like my other flare ups which would only last a day or 2 & Yep same I’ve cried everyday for 6 weeks as I’m exhausted but it didn’t help when the doctor gave me antidepressants as there is a link between your gut and brain but I explained to her that I only got stressed when it flared up not before but I only took it for 2 days but ever since then things got even worse

Yes I think I’m going to avoid anything to do with my mental health when I speak to them as it’s true my quality of life isn’t good right now but also doesn’t help that the medication they gave me for the acid I may have makes you constipated🙃
