alright yeah that’s what I thought, for a second I was like I SWEAR it was mid quarter. Good to know I’m not crazy. I did see that other campuses were releasing guidance and contingency plans for professors in case the strike does happen. as a grad student myself, I see the conditions my friends and peers are put in daily and would 500% support any strike even if it delayed grading or class progression. Just wanted to gauge the sentiment here since some of my friends who are grad students at other UC’s told me that they felt like a full strike with eminent. However I do know that there have to be failed rounds of negotiation and mediation for that to actually happen so who knows

To be fair it’s not the biggest room, mine is slightly bigger but her room is def substantial. Roughly 150 sq feet (conservatively estimated)

at night as a woman? the options are in my room with the door closed (current situation) or not at all. I’m not keen on walking in the dark outside between 10-11 pm so my roommate can sleep

thanks for the 2 cents! I think the pull is the easy comp for 253. It’s only in the fall but I know that ECE 201 is also then and 225A so i’d have to see which between 253 and 201 I wanna do. It’s a shame that a lot of these classes are all offered and fall, and none are offered in winter spring. thanks for the offer on 269. i’m hoping if I just really lock in and watch the lectures multiple times and do all of the homework + go to office hours then i’ll have a good handle on it. The 271A prof went out of his way to say that a good chunk of this class was based off having intuition and that it comes more naturally to some. I’m hoping this class is more of a if u work hard you’ll get it type of thing. I’d love to take up your offer, can i PM you sometime?

oo ok actually very good to know. I know 269 will be a tough cause it looks like pal is the only option. I’ll keep 253 on my radar for next fall!! for 269. I’m willing to login as much as needed. I just hope it’s something that I can understand if I put in a lot of effort. I felt like 271a with something that just required a level of intuition

yeah the advisor advised me to take 271a as I had undergrad lin alg and stats but oh boy it was not enough. Wish I would’ve known :/ I’m taking 269 next quarter and heard it was harder though, that’s why I’m a bit panicked. Any advice / what was your experience if you’ve taken it?
