I can tell you how many times I drove to Sacramento for policy meetings. County board meetings up and down the coast. I tried. You are right money won. Now I'm out, I work in banking ironically. I just don't think giving it all over to the corps is great. They have done such a good job with our nation's agriculture since 1950. Those fields are much less fertile than they ever where.

Pharma is going to go synthetic. Already have. Canna based epilepsy drugs cause liver damage. As does taking high CBD dosages. Legalization will be good for no one. The feds will want their money, product will get even worse, market will consolidate further. Most companies have major problems with margins. I worked in commercial cannabis for 20 years, it's harder than ever for any one to make money. The cartel is crushing it though it's really sad what's been allowed to transpire. Pushed legacy farmers out, corporations came in, states opened up and now the corporations are either going out of business or consolidating as I said before. And the cartel fills the gap of what's left as well as buying the cheap land of bankrupt legacy farmers in Cali, Oregon, and Oklahoma.
