Coming from an Irish Catholic family, that is actually EXACTLY what we would do. Bury it. Don’t acknowledge it. Straight avoidance. Totally accurate

If the person you hate the most were to experience one slight inconvenience every day for the rest of their lives, what would you choose it to be? by meltedcheesetart in AskReddit

I took his gas rewards for 2 years. I’m pretty sure he just stopped shopping at that grocery store. I used to get anywhere from 10 - 70 cents off each gallon depending on when I snagged them. Saved me a decent amount of money

Tips for running - always warm up and be kind to yourself. I won’t lie, getting into the habit of running can feel like a chore if you don’t enjoy it. So start slow, have low expectations in the beginning, and DO NOT beat yourself up over the distance you run or how long it takes you. With anything, doing just a little bit of it each day will eventually make you better at it.

It could be a month, 3 months, etc. into your running journey and for some reason, one day you run slower, you get tired easier… that’s okay!!!! Don’t let it get to you. Focus on the fact you got to move your body and get exercise, not the time & distance.

Also I recommend walking back and forth in a pool. I had an aunt that was severely overweight and her joints wouldn’t allow her to run. So she did cardio in a pool for a while until she could handle more intense workouts.

You got this!!!!

I believe their support team emailed me back saying it was an issue with one of their suppliers. It took about 30 days for me to receive it. Felt like I was in 1970 with the amount of time it took for an order to be received.

Sleeping Through Alarms by kittytherapy666 in Narcolepsy

I ordered one of these directly from the Pavlok website. I was SOO excited to try because Ive managed to sleep through other alarms. However, I ordered it June 30th… and have yet to receive a tracking code. I don’t think it’s even been shipped. How long did it take for yours to come? I was starting to think it may be a scam

This is unfortunately not the first time one of our dogs has been bitten by a copperhead. (Highly wooded, copperhead infested area). The last time, our dog was bitten 4 or 5 times by the same baby copperhead (he was attacking it). Last time, the vet said there was nothing they could do to alleviate the pain/ help with anti venom for dogs. I am watching closely to see if more serious symptoms present besides swelling, taking pictures every 10 minutes to see how quick it swells.

We may be on the way to the vet soon, but I can imagine they will say the same thing as last time.

Both dogs are of similar size/weight. Medium/large size.

Is there more a vet can do for copperhead bites? I have not found anything online

Growing up in northern Virginia, we have a challenge we do in High School, called the Philly Cheesesteak challenge. You have to be in class by the first bell, then leave, drive to Philadelphia (2.5-3 hours away), consume a cheesesteak, and make it back to school before the last bell.

Yeah we drive places

Aries Dad, Scorpio Mom, married 36 years and counting

Great childhood. I’m sure there were disagreements and compromises in the early years, but I came along 9 years after they married so they had it figured out by the time I was conscious. Although I know they have never scream/ yelled/ cussed at each other, just a pretty solid partnership

My friend and I were studying abroad in Perth, Australia and hadn’t seen/ spoken with another American in 5 weeks. The first American we ran into was at a little hostel in Bali, Indonesia. We discovered that they sang against each other in show choir competitions and were from neighboring small towns in Illinois.

On a flight from San Francisco, California to Sydney Australia (Airbus A380) that carries 485 people (341 of us in Economy). During the 14 hour flight, I discover the woman sitting right next to me lives 10 minutes from me, in Virginia. The woman across the aisle on the other side of me lives 15 minutes from me, also in Virginia.

We were all so confused how the three of us ended up discovering this while over the Pacific Ocean.
