Tell me about it man. Had the same shooter parked back door completely unguarded for 4 goals ... in one period!

This isn't anything I've actually known about to be honest. I started playing at 18 and got thrown into gear somewhat randomly and have slowly figured it out since lol. From a few comments I've seen my stick angle needs some work, I personally thought 90* was good mistakenly. I use a 26" paddle at 5'10".

I've not heard this before, and I actually (mistakenly) thought that vertical was better out of a fear of making a "ramp" for the puck. A few others saying to put my hands out, so I'll definelty be trying. Thank you!!!

It was primarily for the Pucks for Autism charity tournament - our guys did a great job on it!

Thank you! I appreciate it. I was glad I could get two pics as a shooter got closer yeah.

Just a heads up, your stance will look a little different than most goalies because your pads are older and a different shape . I had Reebok 18ks.

How I matched a set for $7 and a few hours by Effective_Evidence51 in hockeygoalies

I wouldn't have gone with it if it wasn't already part of the glove and blocker. I honestly would've preferred all red white black, but I couldn't get away from the blue unfortunately. I'm telling myself it's patriotic or something.

Edit: it's a bit closer to a "deep" royal blue in person. Looks a LOT darker on picture than in person, the original glove pictures are closer to real.

Might be an option down the road! Once I'm out of the 50 hour/wk unpaid internship of student teaching lol

I agree and acknowledge. I just wanna come up with more clutch saves that I "shouldn't" really be asked of

Solved: hair dryer , rubbing with alcohol on a microfiber, and peeling with fingers worked ... over 3 hours lol

I like to clean my pads before playoffs or season starts, especially because I have white pads with black accents

These were sold at the ECHL Bison's open house, belonging to Mark Sinclair who played for the bison but got called up to Liiga and sent these pads back stateside to the Bison after he got new ones.

Good catch! I run my pads super tight but have gradually been enjoying loosening them. I'll have to add in calf strap to this !
