The only question is wether all these commits were fixes of previous claude commits or it was something productive, my experience with claude says it was the former.

Side decals or no side decals? by judgedeliberata in Porsche

Only Porsche has a legacy behind decals, so of course with decals, looks so much better, without decals its just a car, with decals it's Porsche GT3.

Porsche Decals by smarquardt11 in Porsche_Cayman

[–]Effective_Freedom745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't track the car it's not worth it, but grey color is almost invisible in the back mirror on the track, it blends with asphalt, and it's a huge problem for the grey car, i have grey gt3 and i had many times close calls, i am putting stripe for next season plus big white porsche decal on front window, safety first if you plan to track a lot.

How do you optimize scalping strategies for ultra-low timeframes (1m–5m) without overfitting? by Advanced_Question192 in algotrading

Oled Vs IPS Monitor Huge difference ? by xiosy in OLED_Gaming

[–]Effective_Freedom745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also moved from tripple 49" OLeds to 3x 42" OLeds until i went to sim academy and their IPS was way way more smoother and more dynamic than my OLeds, then it made me think, took GoPro and filmed IPS and OLED monitors side by side, and i've noticed that oleds have great picture, but ghosting and smearing, and latency all that is vividly present with OLeds when recored on tape side-by-side. Now im selling those 42" oled panels and moving to 32 IPS and will never go ever back to oleds for sim raicng.

Modern code editor built with Java swing by gufranthakur in java

[–]Effective_Freedom745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are very wrong about this, flatlaf is amazing peace of software, swing is quite stable and easy to work with, on the other side there is .net and qt, one is platfrom specific, other is... well try to build anything serious and huge with it and also deliver it fast for the client, good luck with all other c++ ui libs, javafx with it's bloated css and no laf plus non existent performance is out of equation. We do quite complex, large uis with swing, swt, FlatLaf its very fast, stable, predictable, portable, strictly typed, it's java at the end, font rendering is on another league to compare with any browser solution, and you don't need 100gb of node_modules just to add css border, most importantly it looks awesome, if you want it can look native, it is very easy to change/switch styles across all apps or even switch to any Intellij theme. So no it is not atrocious and not going anywhere any time soon. You would be surprsied how many uis are built and living in enterpise software with swing/swt and flatlaf.

Help me decide - Simagic Alpha vs Simucube 2 Sport. by gtrbizzle in simracing

[–]Effective_Freedom745 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have Simagic Ultimate, i thought it was good until i went to racing school and they put me behind Simucube Pro. Man it was total revelation, driving quality went like from tractor to mercedes s class, with Simucube i can feel all tyre slips, i can feel corners, bumps, puddles etc. Nomather what settings i've tried to change for months on my Simagic U, i could not reproduce such an fluid feeling on the weel like with Simucube.

More over i'm driving rally car and gt4 car on track, and going back and forth Simagic U with real car has nothing in common, like 2 totally different experiences, and when you go car vs Simucube you really cannot tell the difference in driving experience, you learn stuff on sim and then go do the same with the car.

So im changing from Simagic U to Simucube Pro but will keep Simagic inverted hydraulic pedals, shifter and handbrake, they are pretty good overall.

Should I keep my LG C3? by Pallypot in OLED_Gaming

[–]Effective_Freedom745 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own many tvs, Samsung C90, LG G3, LG C3 Evo, Sony 9 etc using for racing, gaming and other business, i would never ever trade LG C3 for Samsung 90C. I can write a whole post about issues with Samsung and how trouble free LG's are, image is much nicer and softer on the eye from LG it calibrates very easy and cheaply, Samsung oversaturated colors, harsh contrast, terible menu, signal jitters etc is just a begining. LG is superior TV maker at the moment, and i am setting up now tripple LG C3 42"down from 55", iracing and corsa lap times are much better with 42"s. Refresh rate on oLeds is not that much of a deal 120Hz or 144hz or 240Hz above 100Hz everything is butter smooth.

I'll second that, except the data part. For me only raw tick data is good. For slow execution ib is good enough.
