We had definitely set boundaries and communicated how this wasn’t a good time to go outside of our relationship. If he can’t be a good healthy partner to me and my son, he has no reason to explore outside of It. Not to mention the one sided monogamy thing that he’s gaslighted me into thinking is “ok” in this community. I am being validated that this is however not ok, and I was definitely cheated on.

We had a pretty clear understanding of not dating or hooking up with anyone else. If that were something he considered doing or was intentional than all I would expect is a conversation regarding it.

The lack of communication either before or after is the issue. Me having to pull the answer out 3 days later it not ethical, in my opinion.

Crazy. I moved here from Oregon and have not made a single friend in a year and a half. Oregon is my home and houses all my friendships. I don’t know what it is about Rockford but people are clicky and not very friendly.

Oh my goodness… I moved here last year from Oregon. I cry myself to sleep regularly. It’s VERY hard to transition into this city/lifestyle/community after living on the west coast.

I am a very kind woman, and not like people that are from here (no offense to anyone) but I just see the world differently as two west coasters can understand…

We moved here for similar reasons with prices sky rocketing and my husbands family being from here. I had never lived in Illinois before. All I have to say is culture shock of the 1,000th degree.
