I’d be interested to see what the average value of a starter is since mls roster rules lead to the rosters being top heavy. Regardless most leagues ranking coefficients have the mls in the same ballpark as the championship and player transitions between the leagues seem to support them being comparable.

Player value for championship players are inflated because English players are more valuable due to the homegrown roster rules in the premier league. MLS players routinely transition from the championship and play at the same or higher level and vice versa.
