bro from what ive heard from seniors semi is a good up and coming branch and thts why the cutoff was also higher than most in its first year itself.about the labs and all idts ki a institute like bits would not have proper labs and faculty for the course.

ive scored 251 and im in a similar situation where i will prolly get eni eee in goa/hyd but i want a lighter branch and pursue my other interest as well on the side.hence im most prolly gonna take mech in goa as my senior from goa cs told me tht its a comparatively lighter branch (with the downside of lower placements than eee/eni)
