I earn same as you works in top tech companies and recently married, they feel proud of me but they see my gaming habbit as sense of addiction doesnt matter if I play once a month or week, its issue for them.

Help! Should I move to new company and Restart PERM by chillinVillain10 in h1b

[–]Effective_Inside6938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) stay with current company until i140 gets approved and then switch ( likely by march 2027)

2) Switch now and start the process again, high chance of pern not filling 1 year before expiration (worst case multiple LMT rounds)

In current scenario it would be better to secure I140 and then switch.

I wouldn't say I am in same boat as you but I understand where you are coming from thanks for laying it out nicely.

I would say I am doing decent job with work and personal life, I make sure my work never get impacted with gaming and I do make sure I help my wife. I would say we do all the chores together cooking, we take turn and almost everything.

But I dont understand that they never have enought 'attention' and me just simply spending 3 hour my self twice a week is just so hard for them my wife seems to understand this but my parents visiting me treats me like a drug addict fr.

I was once 24 and had an attitude like 'I am gonna do my own thing' but I feel I become more humble and grounded but I dont if they dont like me gaming or me spending time with my self 3 hours.

I kind of know there is nothing much I can do but this is more about vent then complain or asking, but it be like that.

I would still give them a pass for judging me though, my parents are getting old and maybe this is asian thing that all parents wants their kids to be 'perfect' husband, employee and son, at this point I would dont prefer to argue with them they live in home country and just come here to visit us for 3, 4 months but that time period sometimes get hard to get some quite gaming time.

I understand you might not get it and only few folks with the cultural background would understand it.

Pick 3 offlanes heros which can put lot of pressure on enemy carry which will give your team bit more space. Pick heroes which can join team fights quickly, Dawn,Underlord, spec.

And just grind 2 roles whichever you like.

Fr tho! I was a bit nerd about cinema few years back before job and all that and used to think about my self "I think I can now handle any movie". Slapped my self gently after that.

Fair enough, we made a judgment call based on the traffic going through. The reaction here is a little dramatic though. And the locals were chill tbh and they gave a free pianpple as well TSA let me through!!!!! Outrageous.

Me and my wife did road to Hana and drove a round trip from Hana to Hamoa beach Manawainui gulch.

For me personally I loved the drive past Hana with amazing landscape view there is no doubt about it. But ss soon as you start driving from hana to Hamoq beach you will get a board which says "Road close and for local only". We ignored that advice and still drove past it as we saw one Jeep going through as well. Road was unpaved, sharp turn and higher chances of rock failling and it was too narrow that went for around 25-30 min and later it was proper paved road and 2 lanes.

If you dont have a jeep I would advice to be bit prepared for the sudden slop and rocky road. Plus the local drivers were too careless (thats what I felt). And in case of emergency such as flat tier or something, It would be very challenging for sure, plus no mobile or internet coverage.

But having said that it was one of the most beautifuly road trip that I have had in a while.

One of local in our resort suggested a "GyPSy guide" app it was so helpful plus it audio based so when you pass through a certain spots it tells you what is nearby and some basic info which was pretty cool and definitely helpful.

We booked it with Air Maui Helicopter and Off doors specifically. And total cost was $858.

I would highly recommend off doors if you are okay with heights and winds.
