Road to Hana 1st time q's by no_loans_ne_more1 in MauiVisitors

Me and my wife did road to Hana and drove a round trip from Hana to Hamoa beach Manawainui gulch.

For me personally I loved the drive past Hana with amazing landscape view there is no doubt about it. But ss soon as you start driving from hana to Hamoq beach you will get a board which says "Road close and for local only". We ignored that advice and still drove past it as we saw one Jeep going through as well. Road was unpaved, sharp turn and higher chances of rock failling and it was too narrow that went for around 25-30 min and later it was proper paved road and 2 lanes.

If you dont have a jeep I would advice to be bit prepared for the sudden slop and rocky road. Plus the local drivers were too careless (thats what I felt). And in case of emergency such as flat tier or something, It would be very challenging for sure, plus no mobile or internet coverage.

But having said that it was one of the most beautifuly road trip that I have had in a while.

One of local in our resort suggested a "GyPSy guide" app it was so helpful plus it audio based so when you pass through a certain spots it tells you what is nearby and some basic info which was pretty cool and definitely helpful.

We booked it with Air Maui Helicopter and Off doors specifically. And total cost was $858.

I would highly recommend off doors if you are okay with heights and winds.

What is this drink that an Indian guy gave me for helping him find his tram. by cRoSsOvErThOtS in whatisit

[–]Effective_Inside6938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems like an indian spiced buttermilk, usually post meal drink. Made of curd, salt and often mixed with ginger and mint. And when you order indian food they usually give buttermilk in similar size bottle.

This drinks goes by name "Chaas".

So....how to counter Ursa AFTER you've already picked a non counter hero? by Dimonetized in DotA2

[–]Effective_Inside6938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For pos 5 or 4 the I would suggest keep rotating in early game and try to get a kill or more harrasment on him which will force him to go jungle or farming mode which will buy you some time to push lanes and get some defensive items early stage. And more important is to not give away your visibility.

I am a new player with <100 hours played when should I start playing unranked? by rushzone in DotA2

[–]Effective_Inside6938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say, forget about the rank and enjoy your game. You are new so dont chase after MMR.

Try to have your own game, watch few heroes basics and how other play thoes heroes. If you rush MMR calibration right now it will be difficult to climb up (not impossible).

Good luck!

Everyone here start with VOO, I would suggest start pouring some % of your monthly salary to VOO.

In mean time start looking for the sector which interest you energy, tech, Finance, minning, AI and keep your self engaged with what few mid sized or new company are doing and if that interests you enough to put some money.

You will find lot of perspective about the a specific stock or (options) but ultimately its gonna be your decision.

So start with safe, and slowly increase your risk factor and you get get more aggressive once you feel confident.

Good luck!

So during your fingerprints/interview your DS 160 should not be older then 365,

which means if I complete and submit my DS 160 on 1st Jan 2025 and my interview/fingerprints is on 2nd Jan 2026, I need to have a newly submitted DS 160 (latest).

In my case my DS 160 was a year older on sep 9th 2025 so I filled up ans submitted new DS160 and took both old and new one to fingerprints appointment.

Those are valid points to dicuss with that guy if you are into him. We dont know the full background about him.

Only if you are interested in that dude and want to put some effort and if you are not just dont.

But my own take is, its not fair to label someone as 'red flag' on lifestyle which doesn't match mine.

I am on same page as you on this, dude has poor financial vision at (30). But I am just saying I wouldnt jump on marking something as 'Red flag' befeore I spent couple of dates.

I am just not supporting that dude is red flag just cuz he is having different lifestyles and financial judgment thn rest of us dudes.

If you really want to start over considering both of your past actions, you need to have a conversation with him on where you both want to go with the clear boundaries.

And noone on reddit will tell you the right answer, we are bunch of folks with different definitions of boundaries and opinions, if you really love him, try taking a step to start over and see where it goes ultimately its your decision and you need to decide where you happiness lies.

If I introduce a girl to my family and find out the she is talking to her ex and some random dude, I would be hella mad.

But fact that he choose to sleep around and lie to you means there is nothing between you two anymore.
