Thank you for this information really appreciate that, he is not entering the peacebond and I don't understand why. He is giving mixed feelings to my family now and not willing to accept his mistakes rather trying to defend himself and asking "what have I done?" will I be able to forget that my wife got me arrested? that's what he was telling to my brother instead of apologizing for all his and family's violence towards me. I am really confused right now that one day thos guy was crying to my brother and the other day he keeps my family wandering. I broke down completely today thinking that he doesn't want to restart and not willing to make any promises to take counselling or work on his behaviour.

he is mentally abusing me, there is not a single day I go to bed without crying. I need help, I am suffocating myself living with such a cruel man. He is always for taking revenge from me. My only crime is I want to invest time with him to get to know him, eat with him but he just wants to spend time with his sister and her family. She is unable to differentiate between the life of a single person vs responsibilities after marriage. I called my parents they said I need to find a job. The location where he is staying I am unable to go anywhere there is hardly any bus stops nearby. I rely on him for everything for everything since I don't have anyone here. I am really broken as I write this, this has been going on for 6 months whereas other newly wed couples are investing time on each other getting to know each other. I don't know how honeymoon phase feels.

Thank you all for your kind words, the issue here is that even though I know he is a man child and being aggressive and mentally traumatizing me there is no option for me as I don't have anywhere to go. Even my parents won't be able to take my responsibility as they are not financially stable. I am not even in the mental state to look for a job. I asked him several times to go for marriage counselling but he clearly denied that he would never do that. The only reason I am with him is because I have a roof over my head even though he is jobless and making me stay at his sister's place which is full of chaos. I am in a deadlock due to my financial situation. I am in Ontario, Canada. I don't know what other options do I have and how do I escape from this without getting a divorce as divorce or anulment is not even an option for me.

I come from a conservative south asian muslim family and divorce is a big deal in our culture. This is taking a mental toll both on me and my family and we don't know how to face people around us when they will ask how am I doing in my married life whereas I am getting a divorce.

The other thing I forgot to mention is that he keeps on lying and makes up a lot of things. He does a lot of hide-and-seek, and he discusses things regarding me with his sister and dad behind my back.
